I've noticed this on many TV shows, films and adverts- it always looks as if the wheels are spinning backwards as the car drives forward at speed- why is this?

I have used carefully cut contact paper or frisket to mask on smoother surfaces. This project will include a lot of lettering so I am trying to figure out a good way to do it. I've considered liquid frisket or rubber cement, but have never used either of those products and I wonder if they could be removed from the gessoed canvas. I want to mask the letters, paint the picture, then unmask the letters and paint a simple outline around the letters.

there is a virginia dooley who was a companion as well as his manager of r.c. gorman a renowned artist, native american of southwestern art. rumor has come to me that dooley may have signed some of gorman's earlier works. this particular work that i have shows a mexican man taking a siesta with a ceramic water jug next to him. the work measures 8&1/2 x 11&1/2.

I've seen sites like smugmug that will store and display your original photos, and give you 85% of the asking price if you sell a photo. Can this work? My idea is to hook up with a photo gallery and exhibit there, and get them to work with me in developing an online presence to coincide with my photo exihibitions. Is this a good way to go, or would it be better to just create my own website? What are Pros and cons of each or an altogether different plant?

They look like reflectors? like a sun pannel? is this for lighting? and if so where can i get these ? I am working on a painting on a wall, and I notice there is something new if I look at the painting from another angle. I was wondering if there are some proper methods to identify or to work on this form of art? I have searched the internet but there must be some methods to calculate the distance or the size of the paintings...right?
