You're kidding, right?

There are more paintings about religious themes than anything else. The woman who has been painted and sculpted the most is Mary, the mother of Jesus. Pick any panel from the ceiling of the Sistine chapel. For that matter pick any of Michelangelo's works. During his time most great art was religious and the artists considered the best were commissioned by churches and the Vatican to adorn the places of worhip. YOU are not thinking hard enough about your assignment.

From the begins, the man had to believe in something, so that`s how the gods appeared. But to believe in them, they had to have a face, so the religion paintings appeared....the man always expressed his feelings painting...and the belief is one of the most powerful feelings of human kind...

There are thousands of such paintings. With just a minor amount of effort on your part you could have come with hundreds of them doing a simple search.

However, if you want us to do this for you, try:

Michelangelo's 'Sistine Chapel Mural'
Da Vinci's 'The Last Supper.'

or just about any painting by Goya.

Duh, let's see, um, well, there's the Sistine Chapel, right? & maybe several million others! You've never seen a painting of Jesus? The links below don't even scratch the surface.
