I am looking to find the title of a Picasso painting. It was during his Blue Period. If I remember correctly ... it was of a single flower (or maybe two or three). I saw it at Museu Picasso in Barcelona and I can't remember the name.

The first vase is not the painting I am looking for. However, thank you for the link. It was very helpful. As for the "Flower-Vase" -- I am not finding it when I search online. I am almost 100% sure it was in the Blue Period as that is what attracted me to it. It was also very simple and somewhat elegant. Anyone know a site where I could browse paintings by period?

There is a vase with flowers from the Blue Period on this site, but it was not in the Barcelona Museum.

I checked using the word "fleur" since all titles are in French.

Good luck.

I have in front of me a copy of the Barcelona Museum catalogue where all the pictures in the collection are illustrated.
There is only one painting of flowers. It is called ":Flower-vase," painted in gouache, Paris 1943 (65x 498.5 cm) reproduced on page 67. It is cubist-type painting showing three rounded whitish flowers on green stems emerging from a transparent vase with white contours. This is not from his early Blue period, but dates from the War Years when Picasso remained in Paris. Is this what you are looking for? I hope so.
