I'm writing a newsarticle on how macbeth becomes the king. I cant realy decide how to start it off. can I get some ideas guys? Please Help me!

My real question is do you have to have experience as a theatre actor first before you move on to be a tv/film actor? I want to be a tv/film actor but I hear that it is like a tradition that you have to be in theatre first. Why? Both styles of acting seem to differ from one another. Now if you don't have to be in theatre then how do you start in tv and film without any theatre experience? Thanks all

I'm an aspiring actor but because of my parents and culture I'm not that tall. I'm too embarassed to list my height, lets just say I'm not even of average height. I've heard that looks is important to have some success as an actor because of marketing reasons. So since height is part of your looks how much of an impact can that be if your a short guy that wants to be an actor in Hollywood? Is there a chance for me? Also where do I begin in theatre or TV/Film acting? I would think TV/Film since may be they can make me appear to be tall. Where as theatre acting you can't hide your height. Well to all the experts and experience actors I thank you for your answers.

Is it the same requirements as disney? DO you have to have an agent? I tryed looking for audiotion but all i fond was stuff for Icarly((weird talents)). I don't have anything like that. I want t be on disnet channel but i don't have a agent . Can I still go on nick without a agent?

okay, so I'm 13, in seventh grade, and i am auditioning for dinner theater [ a show made up of broadway/movie songs like wicked, rent, fame, high school ,musical, grease etc.] So, I was thinking for my audition that I would do the song The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson. I know, its weird to pick it especially me being a guy. But i think it would show the notes I can reach, even though I don't sound like her. It's a guy version of her song basically. So I was wondering if this would be a good idea, and if not, then tell me some songs that would benefit me. thanks for reading.

When finding audition music, most of what I find in sheet music is either the vocal selections or piano selections. I was just wondering which is the better choice for an audition, as noone I know can tell me that answer. Thanks!

Please anyone who can assist me,
I am looking for some theatre plays for an upcoming production. I have been searching for a play that would involve a female sword fight scene. And so far NO ONE person knows of one in which I can find a script for. It would be wondorous if someone knew of a play. If you do please tell me asap!!! Otherwise I am looking for these certain play genre's please feel free to list more then one in each category I need all the help. If you can let me know what it is about. I am not looking for any more shakespeare. Thanks!

--Plays that envolve female sword fight scenes
--Plays that involve insanity
--Other plays that involve stage combat
--And any other wonderful dramatic full action play that goes over the top.

I am 14, and there is a summer theatre going on. I want to audition and i am a good singer but Oklahoma is really hard. I can't read music so i was wondering what i should do. It isn't a massive production, but it is still proffesional. do i have a chance, and if not can you tell me what i need to do so i do have a chance? thanks.
