Does Act One of Romeo + Juliet take place in one day????

I have this assignment to transform act 1 of shakespeare's romeo and juliet into a gossip column.
weird assignment, i know lol
i jus wanted 2 know if all of act one took place in s single day or if it took place over multiple days.
just act one.

Yes, it's one day. My friends and I once figured out that the entire play covers less than five days, including Juliet's two days of "dead" time.

I don't think it mattered to Shakespeare or to his audience, what mattered was the story. Each scene could be a day apart or and hour, but who cares? Makes no differece in the play.
