That really depends on what kind of actress you want to be.
Yale, Julliard, Purchase and a couple of others are pretty good for stage acting. But if you are primarity intrested in film acting, there really is no good school. And the professional school route is just a ripoff. You are better off taking selected classes here and there. Unless you are very very good and very very wealthy, there is little chance of your getting into a top acting college. Then, I recommend no college. Why not get a 4 year head start on the people who have to go build sets to get a chance to act? For more info, read my profile and write me at my aol address

Depends on your location, funding and whether you wish to focus on theater or film training. There are some excellent conservatories to attend as well...
UCLA, CSU Fullerton, NYU, Yale, Brown are all excellent colleges with fantastic theater programs.
However, if you want to head to acting school, you might want to look into The Actor's Studio or The Lee Strasbourgh Institute, or something like it.
Also, check out the backgrounds of your favorite actors and find out where they studied and with whom... that might set you in the right direction.
