I just signed up with an acting agency and they don't charge any fee's other than the commission but they asked to get a photo session for which I paid, do you think its a rip off? Also they provide acting courses for free?

If anybody has any ideals I would really appreciate there help. It seems real simple however, it's not. The simpler the better it's not a big budget thing it's a school project. It has to be shot on school grounds. THANK YOU :) FOR YOUR HELP!!!

Please tell me: How much aproxx. time it would take directors to contact me (if they're interested), if I applied for a casting call on september 26 and the filming would be starting on november 14. So, when would they contact me? Please answer!

Ok, so i am in the publicity crew for my school.
we are doing the play "Much ado about nothing"
they asked me to make the t-shirts for this play for all the people involved in the play.

i have to have the following on the t-shirt-
- Much ado about nothing
- 2007 or '07-08

the play is also part of our schools renaissance festival
so the t-shirt can say something about that.

and, i have an idea but im not sure it really makes sense:

front of t-shirt-

"MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING"
WE DID SOMETHING!

(graphic)

Back of T-shirt:

"O, What men dare do! What men may do! What men daily do, not knowing what they do!" [quote (is that a good quote?) ]

and then, under the quote:

cast:
(names of cast and who they play)

Crew:
(names of ppl. in crews.)

[should the names of the ppl. in the crew be on the t-shirt?]

help!!!

suggestions, anyone!!

I'm 13 years old, from Ontario, and I'm currently looking for a talent agent/school in my area. I looked into John Robert Powers and ProScout, but I found a lot of people saying that it was a bad choice, that they would rip me off, and not to go there. I was wondering if I should believe the people who say JRP and ProScout are mistakes, or if I should go ahead and audition for them. If not, do you know of any reliable agents/schools in the London/Toronto area that will represent me well and give me many oppertunities to break into the feild? Thank you so much! :)

I'd like to know if I take my own pics, can I go to a store like staples and get them to print out a head shot, and can they write your resume on the back etc? how much should it cost?

also, ive been on numerous web sites that give you an adress to send your headshots to, but do the casting directors really open them? or is it just a waste of time and money??

Ive been on different web sites (SAG) for agents but how do I know which ones are good connection wise, is it better to just send it to the casting director? THANKS!!

sorry i know its off topic, bbut in the right forum my question just got bumped so far back bc there were so many questions!

at the end of the school year, our speech/drama class will be doing a play. but, our curriculum says that for the 1st semester its ONLY speech and the 2nd semester is for ONLY drama :[
and our teacher wont tell us what play we're doing until the next semester, but i really want to know now!!! haha:] the clue she gave us was that it was a play "no one would guess," so maybe its not very well known?? or maybe so known no one would think of it?? shes super religious (catholic) and so i dont think we will have kissing scenes, but idk.

ANY answers would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I'm in an area where we don't have any way to get an agent. I really want to get into acting because it's my passion. I just live in northern Canada. Is there a way to get into those high end auditions without an agent in my situation? Do you think they would accept a recorded version of my audition?

I would love any info that you can come up with.
xoxo
