What do you do when you are tired and bored of your school?
I am currently junior in college and I fear that it is too late to transfer. It would be pointless. It's depressing me and I'm starting to lose interest in my courses as well.
Honestly i don't know how i lasted as long as i have. It is a small college and well i'm just tired of seeing the same ol' faces every damn day and well I don't get along with most people because I have a very complicated personality and people perceive me as being a *****, anti-social, reserved, distant, whatever you want to call it. What should I do?

How would you like to die? What, in your opinion, is a good death? I would like to die knowing I did what I can and want and knowing that I did something here and made a difference.

Now the people who don't have able enough minds will assume i am saying we are forced to do everything we do, like at gunpoint or something, No i'm not saying this. What I'm saying is, we make choices we are the ones who make them, BUT we are caused to make decisions. Whatever you do, you do with great reasoning in your mind. A dilema occurs when there is fairly equal reasoning to two opportunities, "Should i stay or go?". I could of chose cocacola with my lunch because the colour red was recent in my mind, and subconciously i associated it with cocacola... I have obviously chosen cocacola for a reason... right? You can argue whatever you like, i was caused to ask this and you were caused to read it or not read it, someone once said: Your brain is just a peice of goo with chemicals reacting with eachother, anything can affect those reactions and therefore your future.

I was looking to talk to anyone. My friends had gone home. Some people weren't interested in talking, I could tell by their face expressions. I felt sick to my stomach. I tried to make myself busy, but I didn't want to work. Feeling lonely is for week minds so I've heard. It's unhealthy. I'm being a baby? Am I falling into the same pattern or is this normal?

People always tell you that the troubles you face in life are worth it in the future- they make you stronger and you learn from them. From all the turmoil and problems you've faced in your life up until this point in time, from all the troubles that have come up from the time you were born, up until now, were they worth experiencing in order to be where you are today? Is the person you are now worth everything you had to go through in order to get here, or do you regret something about your past ? Was it worth it?

OK, you have decided that you can tell me who God is. You the Devine 1; you the Chosen 1, you the mere mortal man that had an opportunity to consider your answer but whole-heartedly decided that you can not only tell me Gods name you can PROVE of ots existence. In so doing you have just PREJUDICED about 30 other bnelief systems, have demonstrated a biggoted attitude a "I am right and they are wrong" persona and have proved that you are nothing less than a fool. You who would proudly announce the name of who your God is have slapped more than a billion people in the face by making this statement that you have no ability to support or to prove. Do you wonder why your world is nothing but a mass of confusion? Because YOU not God have decided what IS God. Excuse me, by what authority to you speak? Because one thing I can demonstrate at this precise moment is that You who know Gods name don't know if you will even be alive 1 minute from now. Time seems to be GODS. Not yours. Get it?

I am an 11th grader in high school, and it seems like the one thing which the school emphasizes above all others is getting a good job to make money. This seems fairly unethical to me, as it puts a premium on materialism, and almost not emphasis on intellectual stimulation. You are told to strive for good grades not to learn the material, but to get into a good college, to make money. I would like to hope that an academic institution could transcend this petty materialism and focus more on intellectual stimlulation, such as Philosophy, which has such a greater potential than making money will ever.

it seems weird to me that an ideal can have two complete yet different opposites. it's not like "happiness", which as opposites such as sadness and unhappiness, both of which are essentiall the same thing. "bad" and "evil", while possibly similar, are irrefutably different.

Neither can be totally proven or disprove, so I have to wonder why one seems so smugly superior to the other on either side of the fence....
