1) My daughter. I never knew a love so pure till she was born.
2) My best friend. She showed me how to be a true friend to everyone, including myself.
3) My grandmother. She died at the age of 24, right after she gave birth to my mom. She found out during her pregnancy that she had breast cancer and she was given the option to abort my mom and go through treatment or give birth and die.

1. My 7th grade science teacher, Mrs. Shalogian. I was going through a hard time with the teenage years(acne, braces) and was teased beyone belief. I went home crying everyday and just felt like life was miserable and couldn't imagine life getting any worse. She must have seen a child in need of help because she took me under her wing and gave me a reason to smile. I felt special.... it was almost like having a mother figure who truly cared about me. I was lucky enough to have her the following year as well. If it wasn't for her I don't know how I would have gotten through those horrible years.
2. My grandma.... She's always shown me who I wish to someday be like. She has always been a woman who gives with her whole heart, doesn't say an unkind word about anybody, and through adversity & many trials and tribulations has always came through the dark cloud full of sunshine. She's getting older, and I'm just saddened to know she'll no longer be on this earth and only be in my heart.
3. My 2 long term boyfriends: I know this sounds crazy, but, let me tell you why. If it wasn't for them I'd never know my heart could give to the capacity it did. I've felt every emotion possible. The peaks and valleys were full of love, laughter, sadness, pain, and eventually.... tremendous loss.
I'm going through a tremendous amount of pain & depression over a breakup right now. I want the pain to stop. But, I know I was in love because without love there can be no pain. At least I know I'm alive.

With the exception of God, I would say both my parents. They raised me to be the person I am today and I will forever be grateful for that. They also allowed me to get a college education. It has sparked my desire to always strive to learn more. Life is a life-long learning process.
My friends have all impacted my life in one way or another. We have much to learn about everyone that comes into your life. No matter how long they are in your life, they have purpose in your life. It's up to you to find out what that purpose is. One thing my friends have taught me, is to love like I never thought was possible.
Best wishes!

My grandmother's cousin.
She took me in after I got out of high school and got me a job at the place she volunteered at, took me on vacation, loaned me money to buy a car, and was my mentor.
A lesbian minister we had at our church for a year.
She helped me a lot when my mom was dying and after. She helped me believe that I can love everyone even if their lifestyly is very different to what I believe is right.
My best friend who has a mentally handicap daughter. We both had a challenge at the same time, she had her daughter and I was taking care of my mother, both of us in a place we didn't want to be in and it wasn't planned into our lives.
So we connected and help each other with our problems and just talk and care about each other.
Well, I have 4.
My home economics teacher from high school.
She believed in me, that I could do it and was the nicest teacher I ever had. I tell her that every time I see her.
Those are besides my parents and grandparents which are all gone now.

Stephen Fry: The personification of English charm, wit, eccentricity, eloquence and intelligence. Dazzling writing style and ascerbic wit. I know I used wit twice there (3 times now...), but unfortunately I lack his incredible vocabulary.
Descartes: Questioned everything. Had a wonderful writing style. Was a "rennaisance man" (wrote on fencing, religion, philosophy, mathematics, created cartesian geometry...)
Einstein: Discovered/positied the theory of relativity, had the most incredible view of life. One of the greatest scientific minds of the age who nevertheless believed in God, and saw science and religion as non-contradictory. Helped me realise how things don't have to exist in opposition to each other, despite initial appearances.
So 2 out of 3 are dead, but regardless....go team. :)

3 real people, among others, who glowingly impacted my life, are Helena Blavatsky, Fritjoff Capra, and Carlos Castaneda.
Madame Blavatsky opened my young naive eyes thru the incredible charms of her mysterious doctrine.
Frotjoff Capra opened my more mature soul to his melting of modern science with the deepest mysticism of the East thus making me feel more of the scent of intellectual heuristic happiness.
Carlos Castaneda opened my old consciousness to some strategies of being more transcendentally perceptive and more astute in a world of stale philosophers who go on telling people what things are not, and of dogmatic power-seeking chiefs and priests of the more or less blunt mobs that seek every occasion for being more nastily divisive and destructive.
Helena Blavatsky, Fritjoff Capra, and Carlos Castaneda - these three are some of the people who more glowingly impacted my life.

First of all God is real, but i know what you mean.
1.- My mother. ( raised me right and was always there for me, still is )
2.-My second family. ( not really my family, but this family took me in when i needed it the most and they treated me like i was one of their kids, Thanks to them i was able to get my football scholarship and have a very happy and enjoyable high school experience. I was literally one of their kids for 3 years. )
3.-My best friend ( he has always been there for me no matter what has happened in the past. )

Two professors I studied under in my university years....both taught me that it IS ok to ignore the rules of bureaucracy if it helps you to obtain a positive result.
The other was a 'man of the cloth' ...a man I never met face to face but corresponded with for years.
