Chance is the same as ignorance. When we don't know or can't determine why something happens, we call it chance. Chance is not a causal agent.

Chance is the opposite of destiny. Chance means things happening without any pre-determined nexus.

One can say, we are destined to chance, but never chanced towards destiny.
