I don't mean your looks, I mean the person you are.
Have you reached that point, that win lose or draw, you like who you are in the end?

If I were to answer this question six years ago I would have said no way, back then I despised myself I hated looking in the mirror, I was lost had no idea what my life was about had no sense of identity and didnt care for the world or myself.
Six years on I dont just like who I see in the mirror I Love who I see in the mirror, I know where my life is going - and it certainly is on a much better path, I've achieved my own ambitions ones that I thought were well beyond my grasp overcome much adversity and found pure happiness and Love.

In short I have found myself and I Love who I've found.

Sometimes when I look in the mirror, really look, I don't like who I see at all, and i think a big part is a reflection of how I perceive myself. I always am down on myself thinking I am not good enough. Many people tell me I am beautiful, but I look in the mirror and I don't see that!!!

I have never done anything wrong! I have never PURPOSEFULLY done anything to hurt anyone...I am me this is who I am!
Is it a self esteem thing??? maybe!
But then Other times I look in the mirror and see someone I don't recognize tho it is me...
I don't know isn't that weird? It has to be self esteem...right?

when I look back at all I have been through in life I do wonder how life got so bad for me, if I bring these unfortunate incidences on myself...
Perhaps I am just so Naive that I shouldn't leave the house!
But I am just now beginning to enjoy social life!

Yes, I like who I see when I look in the mirror. It took me 56 years to reach this point. But I'd go through it all again to be where I am now.
I'm not perfect. There are alot of things I've done that I'm not proud of.
But I forgive myself for my flaws, and go forward.
Wish I could give this peace to everyone.

I am pleased with what I see in the mirror at every point in my life. Not that everything is well with me all the time, on the contrary. When I look deep inside me, I know that what I'm seeing is me in the NOW and this image was different before, different now, and should improve in the future.

sometimes i'd like to smash the mirror down or just kiss it.. but i'm generally satisfied, with the way things turned out, that person i see is quite happy looking ( a little tired because of the "occasionnal" partying) and pleased that i can call life a friend. i can't wait to see how things will be, in a couple of years..

Yes. I would have to say that I'm happy with who I am and where I'm at right now, although, I still have a ways to go in life and my ULTIMATE goal. I accept myself for who I am and know I can go as far as I want as long as I believe I can.

xoxo!

Yeah, I sure do, darling. Took a while, knots on head and that sort of thing, but finally got there.

Don't give up.
