In the near term future, I need to heal up completely and lose some weight, clear my paper clutter, get our finances under control, spend more time with my son and granddaughter, move out of this house within the next 2-3 years (our property taxes are horrendous), spend time quilting, learn how to kayak, and find my overall direction for the next phase of my life.

I am changing my answer cause; I got here after a disaster and saw your question, today my mom drove me to my job.
I was getting of the car when a policeman was riding a bike, he passed next to me and had an accident, nothing happened to us, but I think he hurt his leg.
My mom was took to the police since 8:30 a.m. it is 18:54 p.m. and she is still retained, it was not my fault but the officers fault; we were even on a stop.
It really wan´t my fault, I live in México!, I have to say, that is it had been a common person not an officer my mom would be out by now, but as it was a policeman she is almost in jail.
My mom had an aneurism in her head and she had a surgery a year ago, she had a trombosis and has a heart failure, what is wrong with people, I´ve cried and cried cause they want us to give a big fee for something we didn´t even had the fault, the policeman is fine; but isn´t he supposed to be the first one obeying the rules?? not disobeying them??
I am so angry my only wish is I want my mom back home here with me next to me.
Here in Mexico an officer a policeman is a person who has a very limited education cause they barely study, they are poor people who like to take advantage of other peoples money.
They get up everyday and steal people day by day, and that´s how they live, here "justice" and "government" is just a business I am so angry I am so ashamed to live in this country, where all that matters is money.
I only wish to have my mom here next to me I have a 10 years old brother who asks for her, I cannot believe how corrupted my country is.
It is not possible tha you cannot harm an officer, I never menat to harm him and God knows it was his fault for God sake we were on a stop.
My dream today is to have my mom here, I am sorry if I wrote too much, but I see no justice in my country and I ashamed of it.

I've got a ways to go to make my dreams a reality but I take it day by day, step by step and I am moving towards them a little at a time, I will reach my dreams and am willing to have the patience I need to get there!!

I do not think that I need to make my Dreams a reality, because I already made them my reality. A great Husband, great daughters, and Sons, even great Grand-kids, so, I guess I am satisfied with what the Good Lord, has given me in my Lifetime. Thanks for your answer.

A lot of hard work and determination is what I need to make my dreams come true. The kind of thing that I want to do with my life takes so much. It is something that a lot of people want to do so I really have to prove myself and stand out from the crowd. I pray and keep my faith and like Mariah says "don't listen to anyone when they try to discourage me" and just "Make it happen".

It depends.
If you are still young and educated...work hard for it.
If you are smart and have the "body" to show off, find a millionaire, never mind if he's old enough to be your uncle.
If you have no brain,no body, no education, cry a river and pray.
but if you want to realise the dream right now...go back to sleep.That's less pressure, no hassles and the best to do!

Rena, I have no dreams in the sense of something I'm searching for, plotting to happen, overcome, or acquire.
Does the poplar dream of new green leaves in the Spring? Brood in Winter? Dream of its vibrant autumnal colour? It lives in harmony with the seasons.
I like Zelda's last four words: "...the next phase of my life."
To me--the next "season."
I'm enriched by them all.

Ace through my classes, and to sail through my thesis writing and defending will do it for now. It would also help if I could then attain a great job and then the find the perfect partner...
