People always tell you that the troubles you face in life are worth it in the future- they make you stronger and you learn from them. From all the turmoil and problems you've faced in your life up until this point in time, from all the troubles that have come up from the time you were born, up until now, were they worth experiencing in order to be where you are today? Is the person you are now worth everything you had to go through in order to get here, or do you regret something about your past ? Was it worth it?

Everybody has regrets about something that they did/didn't do in their life. But, overall, I can't complain too much. I've had a couple of htings happen (that I had no control over) that I could have done quite nicely without, but everybody has a few of those as well. About all you can do is give it your best shot and hope things all work out.

Or you can jump off the nearest tall building ☺

Every bit of it was worth it in my case.
I do have regrets about the past, but have forgiven myself for them.
I am a work-in-progress. I'll spend the rest of my life working on myself, becoming the best Me I can be.
But it's worth every bit of pain I went through to arrive where I am today.
I wouldn't trade places with anyone.

Certain things aren't worth it. I think I'd be a fine person without the sexual abuse. My bipolar disorder and social anxiety disorder haven't been frolics in the park, but I don't think I'd seek a refund on those. The other challenges I've faced were worth it, but I don't think anyone can truly say any abuse was "worth" the "reward".

Well, atleast I have usually always learned from my mistakes. I have made a few of the same mistakes more than once but there is always some knowledge that comes with them, be it good or bad.
