I see that there is a common hidden teaching in all three of the Holy Books of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Since a little boy I have been lead to believe that we all would come closer to the truth if we focused on what we have in common instead of our percieved differences.

There are plenty of people who wish to exploit the different perspectives of each of the faiths. I only want to exploit the things we have in common.

Please if you want to denigrate another persons religion there are leigions who will support you in that. Go to them to share those ideas. Here, please only focus on what good we have in common. Things like the worship of one God. Good deeds. Teachings of love. Things like that. I will select the answer that exploits the most teachings that are common to all three. Any negative feed back about anothers faith or religion will disqualifiy your entry.

Good Luck. Move forward in love!

Is there a template one can use to decide what is most important to them? Are there any guidelines to make sure one covers all the bases? I am looking to make a sort of moral code, defining what I believe is right and wrong. Thank you for the help.

as you get older, do things change in a greater proportion or is it your own awareness of the world around you that makes it appear this way?

Ok I think its impossible. Otherwise wouldn't there be people from the future amongst us now?

I think all you sci-fi dreamers need to stop dreaming. Time travel is impossible. Time is like the never-ending motor. You can't freeze it, you can't stop it, and you can't jump it, or go back in it.

I do however believe that life exists elsewhere in the universe. But thats another question for another day.

Can someone support or refute what i said?

here is the situation...you are driving in the freeway when it starts raining heavily...there is an accident
what happens next A or B

A.) you walk out of the accident with minor scratches...and the 7 yr old boy in the car next to you dies...u dont know him and he is of no relation to you

B.)The 7 yr old survives the accident but it turns out that in this scenario...you find your self ending up with no arms or leggs

Would you change your life drastically for a stranger?..even if its a child?
i know that if it was someone we knew wed be quick to say yes ill do it,,but what if it was a stranger

Think about how ur life would be different...never walk again or hold anything.never drive ..i mean you could always install fake arms and legs but mentally would u be happy,,,would it be worth saving the 7 yr old boy that u dony know....but imagine how greatful it u would be if it was your 7 yr old boy or girl and the stranger saved ur childs life

I am a good man. I treat people with respect, I try to make the right decisions in life, and people typically like me. I am a loving, caring individual who sympathizes with people when they have problems. However, I can not seems to forgive people. It's not like when someone is running 5 minutes late for something I never forgive them (I mean the smaller things I let go) but I mean for the bigger things. Even if I can understand why someone does something, I can't forgive them for doing it if it is something I feel crosses the "threshold" into a big deal. It's too situational to talk specifics but I guess what I am asking is why a nice guy such as myself is nice in every meaning of the word can't forgive? Is forgiveness something you learn?

have u noticed how rotten people have gotten these days? it seems like they just say whatever the hell they want with no remorse. i attribute a lot of this behavior to the internet. people get used to talking disrespectfully anonymously, and soon it becomes apart of their personality in real life. I'm getting very worried about what might happen to us if we continue down this road. It starts with words, and then progresses to actions, and i think we are already getting to that point where we feel we can do anything we want without consequence.

how does everyone else feel about this?

One day we know something say the world is flat and that is an absolute. With no tech. Absolutes fall to way side.. Right now I am about absolutely sure Pawn Shops are going to be an extinct business likely within 10 years or there will be next to none of them. Kinda like using a horse for your primary source of Transportation. It is done by a very few.
