One day we know something say the world is flat and that is an absolute. With no tech. Absolutes fall to way side.. Right now I am about absolutely sure Pawn Shops are going to be an extinct business likely within 10 years or there will be next to none of them. Kinda like using a horse for your primary source of Transportation. It is done by a very few.

There are absolutes. They are the mathematical and scientific concepts and laws that make up the physical realm. The numbers and figures are just mere representations that can be perceived differently, but what they represent never changes.

While I readily admit that my life is full of shades of gray....there are a few absolutes...

Setting aside the absolutes that the scientist say can be measured with a slide rule....there are these...

God is merciful.....I would die for my husband or children.....lines have to be drawn for moral survival and finally......when it is all said and done....this life is finite....what matters the most, lies on the other side.

The problem with absolutes is, as you say, that things change over time. Absolute morality, for instance, makes no sense because we are not still living in the barbaric, uncivilized times that all religious morality was developed in. (Besides, just who gets to decide on which set of "absolute" morals everyone has to adhere to?)

Grass IS green . The sky IS blue . Trees DO have leaves . There IS right and there IS wrong . And although there can be differences and nuances to the above examples , the constant still DOES exist .

God is watching for your next move . What'll it be ?

The only absolute is God and awareness of our relativity's is of no doubt!!! What can we catch about God? Tiny bits that for me and some other millions goes with heart and soul involvement - we can know but hardly explain some of His major expressions

One of the main problems with this country is relativism..there are no more absolutes...there is no more absolute truth...your truth might not be my truth....there is no more absolute love...now we are told to "love the one your with"...there is no more absolute right or wrong....what might be right for me might be wrong for you.....as long as no one gets hurt..........the further away from Gods Word we get, the more we depend on relativism!!!........but God said that HE was the truth.....God said that HE was love.....and God told us what He views as right for us, and what He views as wrong...He doesn't say this to be mean...he says this because he loves us and wants the best for us....Man changes with the wind...Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and always...you have His word on that.

The unified field is the one and only absolute... although it doesn't matter what name is applied to that personal, and impersonal absolute.

Well, death is an absolute. Like George Carlin says, It's on our schedule, we are going to die.
