Why can't one have both? Survival, although necessary, is not the only thing one can do. Some would argue that to survive is to succeed. But everyone's definition of success is different. To survive is to live, but not to have all the wonderful things in life. Well, not always, that is. For some, survival doesn't just cover the things that they need and have, but the television, the radio, and other things that people believe they need.
