What is it in this world that you really care about? What is going to make you stand up and say, this is mine? And how do you know when you've found your true place in this world? There is so much suffering and strife out there. How can we all find a bit of heaven on earth? Because we all need friends and family. We need support, and we need to make this world a better place, and not mess it up worse. What's it going to take to get us to actually care for our home?

you are given something,
are complimented,
something is done for you,
someone says "I love you"
you are touched in a loving way

to me it means life is not easy or painless but if we can embrace the pain and struggle instead of fighting it we will be free

This question occured to me as I was sitting on a plane one day contemplating how some people feel guilty for surviving a disaster many other people do not. It occured to me then that I would be absolutely fine with surviving the crash of my plane, regardless of whether other people did.

To extend and abstract the question, what if you knew that if you chose to die, you would save the lives of perhaps 100 Iraqis who would otherwise die in a car bomb the next day, or 100 people on some island hit by a large wave?

Personally I think I'd much sooner read a news bulletin about the death of 100 people I never knew while drinking my morning coffee than die in their place.

How did their wisdom help you?
Does their message still speak to your heart?

i'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times over but here it is again. i'm not a religious person, i like to think of myself as logical and analytical and logic would seem to disprove evolution fairly easily.
How did life come from a rock? How did a bird come from a lizard? Why don't we see birds come from lizards today? Why are there no transitional fossils in our museums today? Why have we never observed beneficial mutations? Where did the information code in DNA come from? Where did the language convention that interprets DNA come from? How can we explain the random development of the human eye, reproductive system, digestive tract, brain, heart and lungs? What about the subconscious mind? What about love, morality, ethics, and emotions? Can these things really evolve gradually and randomly over time?
Try as i might, i cannot reason how DNA could evolve from a random pool of elements, and if DNA was known then, would Darwin's theory ever have been?

I think vets are smarter and are more educated.[no offense human docters]because they dontspecilize in body parts like humans and do more than one specie of animals.Vets are like general practions+being an eye docter, dentest, surgeon, and other but human docters are either general prctions or specilize in one body part and one specie.Dont missunderstand me i reaspect human docters they are care takers and take care of me when im sick and a human life is more valued then animal life.So at the end of the day the human docter is a hero that gets more money[coz of society injustice]but the vet is a hero to animals who gets payed less and does more work and has more knoledge of more species and body parts than a human docter. They are both heros but im talking about knowledge and whi is more diverse. What do you think?

Science is a great thing. Knowledge of how things work can result in great things for humanity (terrible things as well, but I won't get into my views on this). But what if perhaps, there are no great answers for the great questions? All the people who criticize those who look to religion for answers should stop for a second. Lately I have been thinking a lot about life and the universe and then thought to myself, "Why am I spending so much time worrying about things I have no controll over?" To think the big bang just randomly happened and everything that exists just exists out of pure random chance seems to much for me. I think the universe is way to complex to happen by it'self. There must be some logic to it. That logic comming from God perhaps. How God came to be I will never waste time thinking of, but the universe we know, especially life on earth follows way to logical of a pattern for me to think it's all chance that we are here.

i'll ask a question on a life's topic and then at the end of the week put the answers together and send to everyone on my list so everyone can see everyones answers....i think it's good to see how we all think about a topic. With most of us are coming from different races and cultures it makes it interesting to see how we all think about life....

Many theists say God created the Universe.Hindus say God is doing everything. If God is doing everything I am not responsible for my actions. If someone has murdered ,then God murdered,so put God in jail cause hes doing everything. Also,Hinduism has this concept which says that you are now suffering because of your past life evil deeds. If you are suffering because of your past life evil deeds, then what about your first life? The first time when you were born on this planet? That time you dint have any past lives, did you?Another thing, this concept of God seems to be very insulting. The Universe is so vast,it is infinite,it is just so so so big how can there be creator or leader or almighty? There just cannot be.
I disagree with Nietzsche's statement "God is Dead" .In the first place God was never born, then how can he be dead.Only if you are born you can be dead. But God was never born,so he cannot be dead.GOD NEVER EXISTED.It is just fiction.Ok guys, dont get angry with me ,tell me your views
