If we gave everyone the power and authority to fix problems as they arose.

Many of the problems in the world could have been fixed in the first five minutes but the people present did not have the authority or the resourses to fix them. We had to wait for approvals and the problems escalated in the absence of
authority.
but small things lead to big things. Incentive and motovation snowballs.

In the service industry if a worker can repair the damaged confidence a client or customer has in a product or service by replacing or repairing immediately the defect then customer retention is achieved...problem goes away...confidence is restored and workers self esteem is raised. Giving the worker the authority has improved the service industry.

Would this empowerment implemented on every level of society improve our world. or cause more problems?

If it turned out that something that you believed was inaccurate in some way, how much or what type of evidence would you need to revise your belief?

The men are so much better. Why ever? The shoulder girdle?

They say that physiologically men's shoulders are "meant" to pick up piles of wood for the fire, and women to pick up babies.

Is that it? Our shoulders? Speaking for myself again (I'm lying ...I just don't want to be caught ... I think women pianists, like women conductors, lack warmth if nothing else, and that would be bad enough right there, but we *also* aren't talented, either ...I mean, how many women pianists do you know who you *don't* have to patronize under your breath with "That's lovely, dear!" ???)

So...what is it? The size of the instrument? Our spines? A lack of objectivity? Lack of foresight? We don't sing pretty?

Just so ditsy! AAAaargh!

I'll just go for some sherry. I'll be alright in a few.

love
Darjeeling

hmm. This question goes out to everyone. Would you live on a planet covered in water with random dotted islands? Is it a desert with a blue moon. Maybe a bioluminescense(i hope that's how it's spelled) landscape, meaning everything glows in a neon sense, could be plants, animals, the water maybe, anything.
I sometimes dream that i am elsewhere to help me cope with my surroundings.
Maybe you like gardening, so your planet would be filled and overgrown with every plant imaginable and maybe create your own. What size would your planet be? Would there be gravity?
Maybe have 2 or 3 moons, a place where it is constantly dark.
It could be anything, from places you've seen, paintings, dreams. I would like to know. I've never asked anyone on the outside.
Have a great day everyone.

Yourself, what you feel and worry, what if you trained yourself to feel this way, living a lie, or doubting what you feel. All these what if its in my head or what if I don't really love/care.
All that? Just malfunction for no reason and be insecure?

I am not just talking about "in love " relationships. Between parent and child or siblings or friends. Would you kill for a loved one? If they were suffering from drug withdrawl in prison would you try and bring them something to soothe them?
