The reason why is because someone who overestimates themselves may have the potential they boast about and at the time in which you underestimate them is generally when that tenet holds the most truth.

because ur asking virtually the Impossible;
Who overestimates who;perhaps ordinary people do to
their legitamately voted representatives!
Or do you underestimate your boss,who would certainly
(try to) fire you if His job was under threat because of it.
Just what wereyou and your classmates taught about
who is inferior, and who is or should rightly be known as
Weak.
Yes,its a "tall order" estimating Anyone!
And rightly so; plenty of people have died profecting our
part-of-the world from evil-ites;
And we probably underestimated them before they
were enlisted in the armed forces and given deadly weapons.
So where am i coming-from?
"An under-estimator who certainly or rather hardly ever(now)
overestimates the selected "few"; Scholars or teachers
(people like Keller's Anne Sullivan excepted!)or so-called
"tope contributors" or even ur average philosophical teacher
(although NOT the ones who are Still keen-to-learn something).
And so much for those "focus groups" who show the
(psychologically inclined ) leaders,who to "court" and
to "trust". i guess i am talking of(our) mass educated society. Lets hope that the minority have it better,and can do
a lot more that just "estimate" the good stuff we have.

I guess it could mean that you should be more wary of someone who thinks too much of themselves or appears to be too arrogant for the sole reason that they might eventually become some sort of threat or they might actually carry out the threats that they previously boasted about, what do you reckon?
What's your viewpoint buddy?

because those who trust greatly in themselves may have a good reason too and you should listen to them. then you can decide whether to underestimate them or not.
