The truth is a broken mirror its true reflection is scattered into pieces. No religion is fully true as they are part of one whole.
In order for us to understand the meaning of life we must draw from each other's wisdom without the presence of anger.

I already put this into the R&S section I just wanted to see what the Philosophy section had to say. Also had someone already come up with something similar?

Here Is the result I came up with. Skinny: They are faster, not as big targets, can postion themselves better, more heat tolerant, require less food. Fat: Can take more bullets, prob better in hand to hand combat, can handle cold water better, can go longer with less food. Anything else youd like to add?

Most people misinterpret the question to mean: "How can you tell if you're not there..?" (ie a detective kind of question) and often answer by putting animals or tape recorders in the forest. But that's not the point at all...
The question is really aimed at making people realize that the sensations they experience are actually products of their own mind...So no mind present, means no sensation. In particular, when the tree falls it produces a compression wave in the air, of course...but no sensation of sound is produced (since sensations are produced by minds)..And "compression wave in air" and "sensation of sound" are NOT the same thing.

So- there is a program where people can go and 'buy' lives. Not like Wife Swap or anything- basically you become the person in that life. If your life was one of the lives on sale, would people buy it? Why? And what kind of life would you buy if you wanted to?

I think as soon as I die I will be alive again on earth. I think I will always be alive on earth no matter what happens.

I think I should go on and die right now and so I can be alive again.

I am going to end my life so I can come back and be alive again. I am going to be alive again, believe me, everyone should try it and watch themselves come back on earth again.

Do you think that we can make it?
Before a metor impact, cosmic rays, ozone layer, floods, earthquakes etc.. destroys all life.
Even if we found another planet to colonise, we are soooo far off having the technology to get there.

I seem to have the ability to be able to walk into a room or just walk past someone and when I look them in the eye I can sense evil.
