Never, but it will make an incredible true story with happy ending. So much loss for a child to overcome and still retain innocense that was stolen. Mine because you can't appreciate Heaven if u don't know Hell. Up is only Up from down

Wow. This is a great question. Very imaginative.
I think some people would probably buy it. On the surface a lot of things look pretty good: I'm reasonably attractive, fit, healthy, have a beautiful home, a well-paying job, a loving family & good friends. I did well in school, won many awards. I have many creative talents & hobbies. I have an appreciation for beauty & nature. I am passionate, funny, unique.
However, there are drawbacks. I have issues. I tend to be high maintenance. A bit of a control freak. I'm very sensitive & sometimes feel too much which can be overwhelming & hard for others to understand or relate to. In some ways I'm my own worst enemy. I hate my job which destroys my soul but I'm too practical to quit because there's a mortgage to pay. My love relationships tend to be turbulent.
It would be a good life, sometimes a wonderful life but not a carefree life for certain. I suppose if it was priced right someone would buy my life. It wouldn't be the best or the worst out there.
It might be nice to be Angelina Jolie but I couldn't afford to purchase her life.
The truth is, even with its drawbacks I wouldn't give my life up or trade it in for another. And I can even say that today, on one of the worst days I've had in a year...
Even at the worst of times our lives are precious & worth holding onto. They are priceless...
I like your question. It made me think. This actually made me feel better in an odd way on a truly ghastly day. Thank you for that.
:)

Wow, this question really made me think. I think that even if I bought someone Else's life I would still be buying someone Else's problems. I have a lot of the typical problems: illness, aging parents, a so-so marriage, etc. but I also have a lot of good things in my life. A wonderful child, good friends, nice house, enough money, etc. The one thing I would do if I could "buy" a life would be to stay in school longer, have more children and worry less about minor problems.

I can't imagine why anyone would buy my life, particularly after they read the fine print that reveals all the convoluted family drama, as well as my ongoing need and desire for milk chocolates, codeine, and carry-out Chinese.
The purchaser would have to put up with some serious concerns regarding a terminally ill patient in the home, as well as nuisance problems such as a cat who brings in unharmed live prey to catch at leisure at night. The, there's the impossible heat and humidity where I live.
The purchaser would find that a vigilant skin care routine is necessary to keep the rosacea away, and that the upper arms are too fat. The knee that was damaged in a freak high-speed bicycle accident is another little problem.
But, anyone who would like to enjoy some rather dazzling skills (I'm a professional artist) as well as anyone who enjoys answering the phone a lot is welcome to apply.

Hmm, yes I think some people would buy my life, it is simple, unhampered by too many material things, no one's trying to snap my picture every time I step out of the house, I have a beautiful healthy daughter, great wife, nice things, job that I like. Might sound boring but the spotlight kind of life really gets old.
If I were to buy another life, I'd probably buy mine, only with a significant pay raise.

Maybe people might want to consider buying my life if it were for sale, I'm happily married and have been for 23 years to a very gentle, caring, honest man, we have no children, but do have a beautiful golden retriever who loves attention, we own our own house, mortgage free, we travel a lot, truly love each other and the life we have together, unfortunately I love my life far too much to ever put it for sale.

If my life was on sale, I doubt there'd be anyone rushing around to buy it.
On the other hand, I was shopping around and found it there I'd snap it up and consider it a bargain, a great find.
But we each have a life already, and we don't have to go buy one. All we have to do, each of us, is make our lives into something we'd buy if we found them for sale somewhere.

I would only want to buy a life if I could return or exchange it without affecting my consumer rights. I would like to try a body that isn't disabled for a day to see how easy people without a disability have it. It would be good for people who work with disabled people to be able to experience what it's like to have a disability so they can work on the real issues and not invent answers to problems that don't exist.

I'd have to question the sanity of the person wishing for my existence... not to say I live horribly or am odd, I would just question the motives of anyone who TRULY wants to be someone else- not just idle curiosity and such. I think I'd choose my own life for the above stated reason...
