Consciousness is not limited to time but in fact hails from well above time; as well outside of space, and is what these two in addition to energy and matter have in common, for everything conceivable in the worlds of which these four properties consist speaks in some way to it, of it, for it, by it, and with it.
There exists nothing without consciousness; even the most inactively inert, the most inanimate of objects possesses consciousness, only differing in some degree or kind, perceivable or not.
Consciousness is omnipresent and does not cease upon the casting away of the physical shell or life as we know physical existence and did exist before physicality became part of the omnipresent Fabric of which Consciousness is a sibling complement.

Will consciousness ever end? Not while a person is still alive, some people are able to suppress their conscious mind but never disable it. A lot of believe systems have multi-dimensional forms of existents, and in all seem to have consciousness. There for I believe that no matter what, there will be universal consciousness for ever weather it be in this world or the next.

If man wishes to know beyond a shadow of a doubt whether consciousness will end, then man must find out from where consciousness originated.
This journey is possible only if mans consciousness merges with this effulgent consciousness and imbibes the qualities contained within!
In my opinion, the answer would be, no. Consciousness will not end, it is timeless.
One should go within and find out for themselves.
This is a necessary journey for man.

At present, consciousness is not understood by science. It is difficult to make statements about something when we don't really understand what that something is.
I've read the opinion (by a scientist for whom I have enormous respect) that consciousness is such an utterly amazing thing (the universe becoming "aware" of itself !) that it is almost inconceivable that it is just an accidental phenomenon of evolution that could just as likely have never 'evolved' into existence at some point in time.
(The way he puts it is something like "If not for that accidental product of evolution would the entire drama of our universe have been played out before empty benches?") In other words, the answer to your question that this scientist offers is "No."

Never! Only the objects that float in the endless space of consciousness will end and disappear, but consciousness will go on and on for ever. The "day" consciousness ends, all creation will vanish; no life forms will exist, and all existence will fall into Chaos. When we say consciousness will end, we have to remember what this statement implies: The Creator Himself will cease to exist - and that is far from all thoughts, intentions, purposes or imagination. Consciousness will continue to exist as long as the Creator of this universe exists, because it is His consciousness, not ours.

Maybe your asking if all consciousness will ever end?
Such as all life stops existing at some point in time.
Maybe there is an endpoint to the universe and existence?
Or a end just to all consciousness?

consiousness ends everytime you don't use it. every time you act irresponsable you make it (not dissapear) but at least forgettable.

No it does not unless your brain dead. Even a person who is on life support, and is unconiousness does hear, and realize their surroundings. Personal experience. I remember a doctor was talking to me one time, and I thought to myself as I was not able to answer. Why is he asking me such stupid questions?

Well, when did it really start? What are your first memories?
Did it feel like you "began " to exist?
I bet it didn't. i don't think it ever starts nor ends.
