I would return to my home country of Greece, because I do miss the warm evenings, the smell of herbs on the breeze, the barbecues on the beach, fishing for squid at night with my friends after a few beers, sleeping under the stars, the sound of goat bells in the early evening....................need I go on ?

I've made myself homesick now !

I would live in either Australia, Ireland, Canada, or New Zealand. Each of these nations have a wonderful goverment and health care for all their citizens. It is a great disappointment to me as an American that I pay so much in taxes, but the government here has nothing to show for it. I would not mind paying the taxes as long as it helped support programs that gave back to the citizens of the USA.

Though I would like to just be a world traveler, I would probably have to say Brazil or Morocco. I love the idea of being near the rain forest (Brazil) and my favorite place in the world is the desert (Morocco). Plus, the culture's of each country are so beautiful and fascinating. I could definitely spend the rest of my days in either place.

New Zealand.
I think their society probably is closest to Canada's in temperament, and their relations with their aboriginal natives the Maori are arguably some of the best in the world.

Climate, topography and British heritage are other things I appreciate about the country.

Peace

I would live in Iraq. I live in America now. I would live there because I have in-laws there, and also because I beleive I could help a lot of women become educated, and more liberated. I don't want to affect their religion, just help make them more aware of their value to the world and even to their husbands. My mother-in-law cannot read, and has never driven a car. They are astounded that I drive daily here. Their husbands make it seem like this horribly hard thing to do, and that their wives are too ignorant to learn to do it themselves. I would teach them they are not. I would also encourage the women to stick to breastfeeding and cloth diapers. I have noticed a trend of women stopping these things because they see so much of it in the media that they think it is the modern thing to do. I would educate them about the results of this sort of behavior on their beautiful environment.

England, because I do not have time to learn another language well enough to live in a non-English speaking country. Plus, I've always wanted to go there anyway.

If I had my choice and had to go elsewhere, I'd move up to Rena-land, at least till November or December.
The west coast is fantastic or even the mountains. Then hopefully I could arrange to come back to Mexico for the winter, maybe the Los Cabos area to manage a resort.

France; I hear their culture and their way of life is way more refined then where I live. I like the idea that there's a mix of old, new, country, and city life in one country that goes back hundred's of years. Sounds great to me.

I would have my own country. That way I could live in a truly representative government.
