Faith is that ingredient in the life of human beings... in absence of which trust in Almighty God becomes a fallacy! None has ever seen God... neither we have seen the fragrance of a flower... yet, we can feel the presence of both! How? It is only faith that makes believe there exists a beautiful flower that sends its fragrance all around. It is faith in Almighty God that paves way for one to get enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

No scientist ever has traveled the spiritual path. Einstein was the only scientist in the world who accepted in the later stages of his life viewing religion from the scientific point of view was his biggest mistake! He wanted to dig deep into the bottomless pit of spirituality by assimilating the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred Scripture available on Mother Earth... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata... but it was late by then!

Einstein was the only scientist in the world who used his brain 4%. Most human beings on Mother Earth do not use their brain even 1%. In the balance lies the real wisdom of the Cosmos... the pearls of wisdom knowing which one ultimately transcends barrier of earthly life and gains enlightenment and finally moksha. It is only faith in the existence of God that made Albert Einstein believe in Bhagavad Gita... the knower of which becomes the knower of all!

It is only absolute faith in Almighty God that most spiritual seekers willingly travel the uncharted path of spirituality. Most affairs in the spiritual domain are conducted by faith. Science demands proof... in absence of proof most scientists failed to assimilate, digest the wisdom contained in the sacred scriptures of most religions of the world. Yet, bonded by absolute faith in Almighty God... every seeker of spirituality finally reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 million manifestation!

We do not see God... does not mean it does not exist! We definitely have a soul atman within our body that has manifested the body and not otherwise. It is not within the capability of the body to manifest a soul atman. It is our soul atman within that is on its cosmic journey. The purpose of the body is very simple... to assist the soul atman within to regain its prime pure pristine original form... so that its release from the cycle of birth and death is expedited. Having regained its pristine pure original form... our soul atman goes to the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)... a point of no return! The Theological Virtue For Christians, believing is not seeing. Our life is built on the knowledge that God came to earth, died on a cross, rose again on the third day, and then ascended back into heaven. Why do we believe, because the Bible tells us so. We were not there when Jesus was crucified, yet we believe. We were not there when Jesus rose again, yet we believe.

Too many people want physical proof. Even Thomas, one of Jesus’ twelve disciples, said he would not believe unless he saw Jesus. What was Jesus’ answer to him when he saw Jesus? “Because you have seen me you have believed, blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe” (John 20:29). This is the theological virtue known as faith, believing what we did not see because we know it in our hearts to be true.

Faith is acceptance of the world as it is and will be, without reaching after provable or empirical explanations for why it is as it is, and for other things that are refractory to such explanations.

Alas, much faith involves substituting another type of explanations for rational ones. But it need not.

Having faith in God is like saying I believe the Sun will rise tomorrow. You know you might be dead by tomorrow, but the Sun still rises each new day. (colloquially spoken) It refers then to something that shall happen no matter what based on prior history.

Faith too is very much based on prior history and depends upon this to be firmly anchored in the person's heart.

FAITH is the 'ability to believe something exists' without any 'hard evidence' ... and 'having faith' is not quite the same as being 'faithful' ... to be faithful, you have to be 'loyal, true, and sincere' without any hard evidence ... so you must 'have faith' before you can 'be faithful' to anyone or anything ... including God.

Faith is the intiuting of possibility with the hope of it being realised.

When the Bible verse states "Faith can move mountains" That's exactly what it means, literally and figuratively.
