We struggle a lot to just know that we are dead ! All other things we 'know' is through the sense organs. And with those 5 sense organs 'switched off' , no way to know that it has happened to us ! Again, this happens every day when we go to sleep, it is just that it gets switched on again and before we even realise what made it ticking again, we are inextricably caught up in the outside situation, memories etc ! All evolved beings had spent their lifetime/s to resolve just this !

All the bacteria breaks down the body and it decays and makes a bad smell. I don't know if we move on though. Do ants move on if they die or bacteria and plants? All those living things? I reaally really really don't know! No ones lived to tell. When people are close to death they always mention of light or something. Then there is religion saying we go to hell or heaven. Then there is the cycle of life. Maybe when we die.. it's like we're sleeping and never wake up.. you know?

When you die there's a part of you that lives on.

you are no longer! It is a question not of to be or not to be; rather, the question is not to be any longer or to be by resurrection.

When *I* die? I want to be thrown out into the back yard. I have always been feeding the birds and other animals; why stop at my death.

I think I died at least twice and then God brought me back to life. I think I am supposed to figure out the reason(s) why I died and why He had to bring me back. Once was while camping and once was while driving. It was just like turning off a tv except it was me instead, and there weren't the little blurbs of color like when you turn off the tv. I just went out.

A lot of Irish people get drunk and talk about you, and you are the guest of honor so you have to dress nice.
At least in my family they do.

Your family and friends attend your funeral. But seriously, it depends on your religion; though I don't know what happens if you don't have one.
