I don't just means humans, i mean everything.

And If your ganna say the bigbang then please dont.
I mean how did the stuff that created the big bang come in to existence?
and then how did the stuff that created the stuff that created the big bang come into exoistence.

And also if your going to say god then consider how did god come into existence to create the world?

I'm almost 30, and feel great inside, mainly due to all the exciting sports, practised from an early age.
I stretch a lot, rest and do yoga.
Now, how might I look and feel at 70 yrs old...?

No one was in extremely good shape before, say, the sixties.
The actor who played Tarzan was like a model for good shape, and really, he looked goofy and "tense".....looked like crap.
So we don't know the effects of physical discipline in time.
My father was a boxer since the seventies and now looks really good and young even though he's 63.

Our knowledge of proper exercise and the prominence of sports in the last 15 to 20 yrs has made a lot of us real healthy. So my question is, don't you think we'll push the limits of human wellness and longevity in about 30 yrs from now??

For what do you feel sympathy, compassion and pity?

Is it appropriate to put yourself down?
Is it appropriate to be negative about your choices?
Is it appropriate to punish yourself for your mistakes?
is it appropriate to take pride in what you do well?
Is it appropriate to reward yourself?
Is it appropriate to acknowledge the good and bad, or right and wrong?

Something else?

If you learned that what you believe about the world and how you think leads to states such as anger, depression, guilt, desperation, sadness, grief, etc., would you alter your philosophy?

Is the Universe Sentient?
If so then maybe the Universe has the ability to break itself into many pieces and invest itself in every form of life.
Thus, every being sentient and non-sentient is a projection of a part of the Universal Soul.
Then the Universe uses the perspective of individual beings in a process of self-examination and a search for meaning.
Maybe that's what the meaning of Life really is, something for each of us to discover for ourselves. Since each of us is different, therefore the meaning of Life is different for each of us. So that we will have to find our own place in the Universe.
So that eventually all beings are truly One.

What do you think?

Don't we just want more after we're done?

2007-06-16 12:44:12 · 11 answers · asked by megalomaniac 7

....in other words, as two halves of the same spiritual unit?

If so, could you say why, please?
And if not, could you say why not?

I am tossing the idea around, and am unable to come up with a conclusion.

It seems that people can go along in close harmony for a time, but since we all are different one or the other eventually 'pulls out of port' so to speak, and the unit falls apart.

thank you

How do folks of that viewpoint explain the existence of anything before there was ever human consciousness? Or do they not necessarily mean HUMAN consciousness?
