Writing songs, singing, playing guitar, hearing my boyfriend sing and play guitar, piano & sax. Going to my favourite bar to watch other songwriters perform.
Painting, taking photos, hiking, gardening, watching interior decorating shows & looking at magazines, watching movies, playing Scrabble, talking and laughing with my sister, having brunch with my friend & catching up.
Being away from work. Sleeping in. Relaxing.

Kindness, surprises, love, knowledge, solitude, truth, discoveries, wonderment, massages, the sea, rain, music, books, creating, being in the kitchen, flowers, quotes, meeting of the minds and the day i dye my roots because i won't have to do it again for another 8 weeks which is too long but i hate dying my hair. Oh, yeah, and digression.

Only one thing on Earth makes me completely happy--getting to do exactly what I want to do and to do it when, how, and as I planned it.
This is pure "selfishness" or "individual realism"--actions characteristic of and proper to the scientific thinking adult; these are the rights of the man who knows what is real, acts toward a life-positive goal and requires of his fellow men only liberty--freedom from chains--and the unobstructed right to define his own "happiness"--the goal that will make him most satisfied--and then step by step act to achieve it.

Inner silence. Notice each moment through the history of your life when you experienced pleasure, fun, joy, happiness, etc. It is very likely that you were not engaged in an inner dialogue at those moments.
Happiness exist when we are "not in our heads".

Memories of my parents
All these things make putting up with the many unpleasant parts of life acceptable.

I get pleasure from the same things you do. Any sensation that my body experiences which is interpreted by thought as a 'pleasurable' experience and all thought surrounding that experience. That is all the idea of 'happy' is.
