I am a 28-year-old man and I do not want much anymore. I enjoy food and I enjoy being with women and talking with friends. My heart no longer pines for the newest video games or clothing. I still may be attracted to a particular car but if it is too expensive I can easily let it go. I do not feel that burning desire for money. All I want is enough to live comfortably in a little house with a garden and perhaps cable TV. My car need only be functional, clean, and large, I like big cars. My clothing need only be clean and ironed. Am I depressed or am I actually making some kind of progress? All I truly want are women, food, and conversation.

people in the US generally work 50 weeks of every year, just to get a 2 week vacation. if they're lucky. they're like slaves. after work they are allowed a football game and a beer, and this makes them happy. on the weekend they are happy if they can just sleep. retirement is when work is replaced by trying to fix the health problems you've attained over the years, many that went unnoticed for quite a while.
shouldn't there be more to life? I don't think we're here just to put on a suit and tie every day, go to meaningless meetings, where you see other people in suits use corporate jargon to say nothing. and they take forever to say nothing.
any thoughts?

let me first say that free energy is real and possible and i would explain it but you can just as easily find the info on your own. my question is one of deeper thought and i hope only serious responders answer. with america's economy being dependent on oil and fossil fuels would the advent of free energy signal the fall of the latest super-power. free energy, which would nearly instantly make every one richer by reducing the costs of absolutely everything hinder the progress of a capitalistic economy. would it make the nations of the world more equal, would it end wars over oil and natural resources. would it end the farce of hydrogen cars of the future-it takes a barrel of oil to make a barrel of hydrogen. wouldn't we all be better off for it.

p.s. can we learn to have compassion for the lives around us and learn to accept each other for who and what we are. we are all allowed a finite amount of time on this earth in these bodies and it seems we spend an awful lot of time wasted.
