When people have been together for a long time
They eventually fall apart
Its situational not physoilogical.

once you truly love someone ,that love will last a life time,most do not know or ever will know true love, its hard to find,it can not be turned on and off like a switch,people that claim to be in love or once loved never really truly new the feeling in the first place. so those long years or months and days of so called love was only a faze or a want. not a need.can`t find the word, but it never was true love.

theres multiple reasons for that one. Theres the living with each other and hating, lack of sex (its almost always about sex), boring relationship, arent meeting each others needs, rushed into things and realized it was wrong. People usually say love keeps you together because if youre truly in love with the person, youll be willing to find a way to make it work no matter what.

Sometimes people grow apart. They develop different interests. They want a change, they aren't happy with their current life and want to explore different things. Maybe a mid life crisis. Maybe a partners habits have grown as a irritant to the other partner and they have just had enough.
there are as many reasons why people break up as for the reasons that they stay together.

Because they are persevering and either want to make it work, hope they will make it work, fear the consequences of it not working, or other causes, but underneath them all is the fear of failure, even when it may have been clear to an outside observer from the beginning that things would not work out for the couple.

Couples divorce because their love falls apart when one or both individuals stop trying, they stop caring, they forget what they married for in the first place.

well sometimes its because they want to stay together for the sake of there children. I think thats why my parents stayed together for so long because they r just now getting a divorce and im seventeen
