Life has presented me the greatest gift of all: True love. It sounds silly, and also da*n near impossible to find and rare. But, in my heart I know this is the real deal.. and the engagement ring clarifies it on his end. ah, and it wasn't easy at all in the beginning. We had so many problems in the beginning i never thought we'd get to this point or make it this far "true love isn't always easy, its something you have to fight for". but hey, "true love conquers all."

Great question.

The greatest gift I gave myself was compassion. Compassion towards all the parts of myself that I didn't n don't like, and I stopped listening to the inner voices that says life has to be a certain way, that it can be full of a sense of wonder: the unknown.

The greatest gift life has presented to me is countless moments to practice this compassion not just towards myself but all of life, and countless moments to open into even more wonder, and fall into the unknown.

:D

Believe it or not, the best gift I ever got was cancer. It made me realize the wealth I already possessed and forced me to reevaluate , prioritize and renew my life. It caused me to take charge of my health, my family's health and sparked my interest in helping other people to do the same. (like I usually attempt to do here!) It allowed me to see the beauty in everyday things and to enjoy the little things. Gifts come in the strangest packages sometimes, no?

PS, I have been cancer free for 10 years - and I am still passionate about helping people to do the same! Lose the cancer, keep all the benefits!
