For example, You are planning a nice afternoon out bike riding but you notice you have a flat tire, so you go get your bike pump to pump it up and for some reason its not where it always is and you cant find it anywhere. So you ask the neighbour if you can borrow their bike pump and ofcourse as you are using it , it breaks. Would this be enough for you to say that karma is telling you not to go? This is just an example, but has something like this happened to you .

We live in a world of psychics, homeopathic remedies, zealotry, faith healers, superstition, and all manner of baseless beliefs. It's not just among our peers, but the people we're supposed to trust to guide and teach us. I'm exposed to it in near-lethal doses every day, and it's really starting to wear on me. It's nice to feel justifiably correct, but you have to admit, siding with statistical probability doesn't keep you warm at night.

I'd just like to know what thoughts help my fellow skeptics make it through the day in one piece.

So here I am, trying to beleive, yet I really just can't. How can Christians (or others) put so much faith and trust into someone that is so .. unreal? Now I know some of you are going to say that you don't have to prove his existence, but how can u not? To me, the bible is only a fictional story. I really can't get my mind to grasp the idea. How do u beleive and give up your life to follow someone who you can't actually prove to be real? How do you know it's not a story some ancient people just made up to give people hope or something? Why do you believe?

I monitor a site for people that have left a multi-level marketing company. Our members have been burnt out financialy, emotionaly and psychologicly. This organization leads people to believe that it is all their fault. They often wise up only after a bitter lesson. Anyway, I would like to post some articles on these topics. Why reinvent the wheel when someone could have said what I want to say better than I can? I like to have links to what people wrote so that I can help people move on. Thank you in advance.

I have always wondered how a world can be seperated by skin color. A person should not be judged by the color of there skin, but by the contents of there heart. (If what you just read made you cry, please tell me, thanks.) We all just need to get real and understand that skin color has absolutely nothing to do with the love and kindness that people show. I am a child of GOD and know that you should love your enemies. Please people, stop the fighting and seperation, and join together.
