I mean why do i look out of these eyes, this mind? If i had not been born when i was, then i would never have been born or looked out of these eyes. So what made this body get my conciousness? What makes this body have my conciousness, when there are billions of other people out there without my consciousness in them. Why did i get a consciousness at all and why am i me?

So even when we think we're making choices but could it be that choice you made is already written for you to make? Or do you believe life is a just a one big mess with no directions?

and my mind only. i created all of you subconciously and non of you realy exist. the only thing that can be known is my thoughts my emotions and my experiences. therefore i am the ONLY mind. how can you prove that you even exist if i cant experience you in any way other than the five basic senses which were created by me. sort of like phantom pains.

do you beleive me? if not than prove me wrong!!

Imagine you are with a Zen Master. He picks up a stick and raises it over your head, saying, " If you say that this stick is real, I will hit you with it. If you say that this stick is not real, I will hit you with it. Is this stick real or not?"

What would be your answer, or what would you do?

OK, so if you define consciousness to be the mind's awareness of itself, how did it evolve? At what point did the mind learn to not only process information, but interpret it? Do you think it's possible for computers to achieve this level of intelligence?

mine- i was in a Anasazi type stone building, for some reason this was our school, but i walked into a class room and picked up this penny. i accidently dropped it, causing a teacher to flip out on me, i was arrested. i was in a jail cell, inside the school, the principal woman came in and told me that they sentanced me to death and walked out. i have no clue why, but i left the cell on my own, just walked right out, and started wandering around te school complaining to other people of how stupid this was, after i did this for a while, i returned to my cell when moments later they came in, shackled me to this other kid that i know from school, we were escorted to a wall with an electrical current running htrough it, he started freaking out going on a rampage, i woke up after this.

i couldnt have made that up if i tried. whats you wierdest dream?

All right, I have a speech to give tomorrow after reading Plato's symposium, about the meaning of love. You need to say what you believe love is, what it is about, whether you have to have a sexual relationship, etc. You can take on a character, for instance Tom Cruise, and say what "you" believe love is. I need some good answers. Please & thank you!!!

i am having a lot of trouble over the theory of solipsism. the beleif that nothing exists outside ones own mind. and everything i have ever known and loved is all an illusion and not real.

are there any theories that prove AGAINST solipsism? is solipsism a real possibility or is it just a hypothetical theory that isnt realy accepted?

Of course there is scientific meanings for everything, but lets take a look at colors and our everyday life. Let's take for example the color of the sun, in most cases when we were childeren and we drew pictures of the sun we would grab a yellow crayon. If we were to draw the sky we would use a blue colored crayon, and if we were to draw grass we would get a green colored crayon. Now let's take a example of what happens when you mix colors together. If you mix black with white, you will get a gray color, red with white, pink color, yellow with brown, a green color, etc etc.
Isn't it rather interesting to think, that seeing how the yellow sun, shines through the blue sky, that we oddly have green grass, Yellow sun shines through green grass to make brown dirt?

What do you reckon will kill us all off first?
1 global warming. 2 pandemic flu. 3 some idiot world leaders nuking each other. or some other cause? The 'experts' say it will be probably a nuclear conflict so it would be interesting to get different opinions on this,i expect their will be many varied views on what could be deemed as a fairly serious question as on one hand we do all we can to live as long as we can,yet on the other through our actions or the actions of others we inveriably make life shorter
