It really drives you crazy? Loud people drive me crazy. Well if people can't spell definitely, they could use spell check like I do, because I tend to spell it wrong too.

Gah!
I'm normally not a spelling teacher, but "definitely" has to be the most mispelled word in the English language.

That always bugs me, too. I have to think "def-in-it-e-ly" all as separate syllables when I write it to get it right, myself. It helps if you know the root word. Not too many schools teach spelling that way anymore, though. It's all memorization now. Ever noticed how folks tend to spell "separate" with an "e" in the middle a lot, too?...

Because nobody reads books anymore. Reading loads of books helps you to spell by recognising the shapes of words. You recognise the correct spelling between 'friends' and 'freinds' for example, simply by looking at the word on the paper.

"Why does nobody spell definitely properly?" You may be correcting the spelling of definitely, but your grammar needs working on.
And why are you screaming at everyone? No need to use your caps.

There are different words human beings on right here spell incorrect too like (you're), somewhat of spelling it you're they spell it your. human beings under no circumstances seem to get even as to apply there and their and they are or they're both. To and too is yet another one. i imagine too many human beings only position self assurance in spell-examine too a lot somewhat of truly taking the time to a thanks to spell wisely!

I recommend those sort of people to use Mozilla Firefox - It comes with an in-built spell check.

Probably because they sound it out. But as long as you know what they're trying to say...what does it matter? Spellings change over hundreds of years any way...haven't you ever wondered...why?...It's because people spell it wrong and it sticks...
