I have studied the impact of childhood abuse from a childs perspective.
The answer is YES.
To look at children playing in the school playground, only in extreme cases can one tell that this child or that child is living in a disfunctional family.
They all seem happy at play

Yes. There are some people that are totally negative and that is their happiness to make others miserable. Of course we much prefer to be with people that are naturally happy even when living in a negative environment. They are humanities sunshine that need to be protected at all costs.

Difficult (very difficult) but possible.
Having said that, if you don't have a secure and loving environment as a child, you'll most likely be unhappy even in the most luxurious of environments as an adult. Education (or indoctrination) also matters a great deal. History provides many examples of saints like St. John of the Cross who was tortured for 20 years by the Inquisition, yet who used the time to compose a body of devotional poems to Jesus that is very moving even now. Stoicism taught that even slaves could be happy, yet even they recognized that some suffering was simply unberable, and that suicide was justifiable in cases of extreme suffering. So, your question doesn't have a simple answer.

yes because its only your environment which is negative so nothing to worry about that you can still be happy as long as you look at the better side of your environment, believe me you can still be happy

Why, of course!! But you have to do something. You may choose to be happy now for trivial things but you will only be completely happy if you do something to change your negative environment; not only you would be happy, but your whole town as well.

Yes... if you stop thinking of the negativity. I firmly beleive that 'negativity breeds negativity'... so you have to stop the process and replace it with a positive one. It's not an instant process. Take it one step at a time, and change will happen. (I presume negative does not mean life-threatening, morally demeaning or subjecting people to verbal/physical abuse.)

yes, very possible. the concept of happines comes from the intellect not from the environment. There may be a little influence or so but the intellect via free will will let you choose which emotion to follow.
