I'm not really afraid of dieing, just more afraid that I won't be able to make my mark in the world first, to find my place in it. Afraid that I might die without being able to tell my friends and family how much I love them and they mean to me. Afraid of not making something of my life first, knowing that i've found my place in the world and that i've done good in it.

No, there is a time to live and there's a time to die. I can say this freely to you because I have lost more than a handful of friends and family members and I am only 24 years old so, I know a thing or two about death. Believe me there is no reason to be afraid, that is if you are living right and even then you do not have anything to worry about because God is a forgiving God and as long as you trust, believe and obey you will be fine. God does not expect his children to be perfect. Also who would want to live forever? You would get sick of living after 102 or longer. Here are some examples: people suffering, old age, being sick and in pain etc.....(think about it)? If you really look at it death is really a good thing. Not to say that you are wanting to live forever, its just something to think about.

I used to be very afraid, but not anymore - I know now that it is not just the end, though I'm not sure what exactly happens, I know we somehow maintain knowledge of loved ones and can come back or not. As long as you don't get trapped as a ghost or something, everything will be ok, and even then, you can escape - death is a lot to do with your mindset...

I'm only afraid of what kind of pain I might feel when I die, not really the prospect of dying.

Dying comes before death, and so in the process of dying you are still very aware, but I DO NOT believe we ever really DIE, it's just another word for shape shifting. Therefore, "No"...I am not scared...All I ever was, ever am, and ever will be is now and that is not scary...so the answer is "No!"

Personally, I know Christ will accept me after I die, so I'm not too scared. I'll regret it though, it's unfortunate that we only have such a short time on earth.
If you're really anxious about this, I recommend seeking an accepting Christian church for support and guidance. I know I would be scared and lost if I didn't know where I'd end up when I die.

Not since my children grew up and I'm no longer responsible for their caretaking,. It is a matter of accepting what will be. There are worse things than dying.

I think about it. I'm not scared for me, I don't think I've done enough bad to go to hell or anything. I don't think it will be painful for me. I'm afraid for those I would leave behind, like my husband. I can't imagine the pain he would feel...that makes me afraid.
