Is it possible that we have made up God in order to make ourselves feel better about the unknown? How can we ascribe a theology to an "omnipresent being"?

More and more people are turning away from religion because we are becoming an age of thinkers, and not believers.
Since our educational system is more scientific now, it's assured that no more new religions (God based) will be born. Anyone attempting to start something on those lines will face heavy criticism, unless ofcourse he/she is a real God.
Will religion (any and all) fade out as generations progress? Will the age of science and reason prevail thereafter ? What do you think ?

It is hard to find what is found within seeing everything is without. What remedy can one take from outside for the inside, & vice versa? Should one go in and go out no more OR should one go out to be in no more?

Do you ever feel as if no one in the world truly cares about you? Do you feel as if all the friends you've ever made were simply empty aquaintances?

What does man love more than life,
Fear more than death or mortal strife,
What the poor have, the rich require,
And what contented men desire,
What misers spend, and spendthrifts save,
And all men carry to the grave?

In 1999, the human population passed six billion. In 1985, it passed five billion. In 1962, it passed three billion. In 1800, it passed one billion. In 1 AD, the world's population, according to the censuses taken by the governments of that time, was only 250 million. At the current human population growth rate, considering wars and famines and all such variables, it would take approximately 5,000 years to get the current population from two original people.

Are there any other reasonable thought out evidence that proves this false and concludes humans have been around significantly longer than this, using poplution trends as the variable? So as we are comparing apples to apples. If so please present it! Or what is your personal opinion?

Why don't we blame the devil...?

If Jesus was attacked by the devil and evil demons, why do we not use this as a possibility for some of the evil in the world...

Does the devil exist and what are its powers ?

People say that what we see is not what is real but the figment of our imagination.
How everything we say, see, feel, or hear is nothing more than triggered sparks in our brain that kept memory of it previously.
When we close our eyes, our world is black.
When we sleep, it seems soo very real.
And how cute it is when "we" say our heart breaks. That is impossible to have done.
So please help me understand the purpose of having bad energy roam in the body or bad events occuring without using the Karma word.
