You ever sit around and discuss the world's problems with your friends? I took note of something one day while doing just that. The answers our little group came up with were so common sense yet we could recall no time in history when they were actually implemented. It was then that we figured out things are kept artificially non-utopian. Imagine for instance if drugs were legalized. More than 90% of people in prison are there because of drugs. If drugs were legal the entire country would probably need just one small prison. Cops would lose their jobs prisons would close crime would drop murders would fall the population would rise. The world is the way it is by design, make no mistake about it.

The time we have on earth is pretty bad - but we have to keep on top - so if there is some unjustice being done - make it known - or tell others - media, your local representative in politics - let someone know. Like the bad things that are happening to people and young ones in Darfur - I emailed my P.M. - I emailed Oprah Winfrey. Through global activism - we can make earth a better place if not Utopia.
I think Life after death is supposed to be Utopia. Earth is like School.

...due to ideas which are valueable versus ideas which seem to treat without respect those same ideas and vice versa.

the mind creates by building.....or by deconstructing.

that is the minds ability and purpose.

what the mind do not always know will come back to bite it....

because the mind builds and deconstructs.......from its feelings of love and fear.

building and deconstructing from fear may obscure love but can not ever eliminate love.

and that is why those who pick up a gun or speak lies to enforce/ensure their own un/clear perspectives are just as guilty-seeming as they whom are the focus of their un/love.

to the creator justice is perfect...and is re-created constantly.

to the human justice is enforced...and abusers eventually destroy their self due to lack of truth and love.

the creators are not so mysterious...but for the mysteries of truth which continue to be so dramatic.

a word speaks truth but not whole truth.

silence speaks truth and whole truth for what it do not negate of self...........or its fears.

utopia.......there are unofficial records of periods in human gathering which reflect in idea and practice a loving natural and humane societies.

and officially......it is not good business to compare.

be well

there really is not such thing , as utopia, if you consider all humans, even just the humans alive on this planet today, what would be it for one person, wouldnt be for the other,,,,,, the world is the way it is,, as it allows the individual to do, nor not do,, as much/whatever they wish,,,, and in the long run, that really is utopia
ps: i have to strongly disagree with both the above responses,,, humans are many things, both positive and negative, and no, its not that you hate or love, often the most wrong thing is just not feeling!

Our species is too young and has grown too fast.

Just as other species, we are territorial, blindly follow leaders, and are very close to the time where we needed to be aggressive to survive.

Because we have developed technologically must faster than psychologically, we are on the brink of destruction.

well, things happen, the truth happens. We just can't see it so often, hence we usually have a wrong idea of what surronds us; not many people can face the truth, even those who know where to look. As you know, lies are always ephemeral and never lead to what really happens, although reality always remains existing. Just find your path to it.

cause we've been genetically bred to kill other beings. Be it animals, plants, or other beings in order to survive. Even animals of the same species will kill each other in order to be the one to have sex and pass its genes on.

Can you say "Fear versus Love"? When you don't do something out love, you do it out of fear. We all do both and that is the problem.

Some people think the world is the way it is...Others think it is the way we make it.
