The answer to this question is nothing. If you are content, then you ask nor want any thing, the truely poor have nothing, the rich require nothing, because they can buy it all. Misers are all tightwads, and spendthrifts save not a cent. And you carry nothing to the grave when you die, because you are no longer there, that is just your empty casing. So the answer, again, is nothing.

The answer to your question is nothing. I know, I was bumbed when I figured it out to, but it's true. The poor have nothing and the rich need nothing, it's actually kind of funny.

probably "fear", they carry until their death and they seem to be more interested with it than their life. Of course, I don't agree that should happen, personally I prefer "love". but it seems like all people be with some kind of fear more than themselves, their lives and they have a "FEAR of the FEAR". Poor has mortal concerns and rich needs to keep his wealth.

The way you mention the misers one would think it is his material possessions, but I would venture to say his ego. His face in the life he led. But then again it might be that is encompassed by his soul, So I would say his most valuable thing is his soul.

Such an poignant poem! I can honestly say that I value my loved ones more than I do myself, and would rather face death, than to loose any of them. This is how dearly, I love them. Without hesitation, without doubt, without fear.
