Can you be absolutely sure that there is no evil deceiver?

How can you argue that?

I just worry about it, all the time. It seems like I will do anything to find out.

I really want to know right now what happens to me after I die.

What do you think is going to happen to you after you die?

I just get so nervous, and I think about it all the time. I just keep asking my parents and I start to ask the Schizophrenia voices what happens to me after I die.

Is there an afterlife?

Wow, I can't believe you tried to answer this. There is no answer. " If today is tommorow and tomorrow is today" - what does that mean.

Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.

Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

Drive carefully. It's not only cars that are recalled by their maker.

Eat a live toad in the morning and nothing worse wil happen to you for the rest of the day.

If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Never buy a car you can't push.

Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you don't have a leg to stand on.

Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

The early worm gets eaten by the bird, so sleep late.

When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

Birthdays are good for youl; the more you have, the longer you live.

Ever notice that the people who are late are often much jollier than the people who have to wait on them.

If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?

You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.

We could learn alot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull,
some have wierd names, and all are different colors; but they all have to learn
to live in the same box.

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Happiness comes through doors you didn't even know you left open.

Have an awesome day, and know that someone has thought about you today....

like to know more about? Is there anything that you ever read or heard about that stuck in your head as really mysterious or interesting? A world mystery perhaps or a strange historical phenomenon? I'm really curious to know about more obscure mysteries of the world (ones that aren't so famous). Thanks!

What gave God and Christians the right to judge or condemn me? Honestly, I don't believe in God or Satan and despite what you say. . .I don't want an answer that puts me in my place, I don't need to placed. And for your information, I am Pagan, which means I believe in many gods and goddesses. So lay off!

I got badly hurt and I have no respect for this individual whatsoever. I do, however, have a beautiful recollection of the day we met. All I'm asking is, is it healthy at all to cherish this in my heart because it's like a fantasy. Not real. Someone who loves you doesn't do certain things under any circumstance.

I just feel like I'm fooling myself the way I think about that one day in August 2 years ago.

It was all a lie anyway.

thanx

I can see myself as both the anarchist and the monarchist. I'm at once cheering for ultimate personal freedom and building fences to keep populations detained. I'm at once a firm believer in Christianity, burning abortion clinics to the ground and an enlightened pro-choice atheist. I'm at once an independent music listener who's disgusted by pop music and humming along to the latest radio pop hits. I'm at once interested in a career as a psychiatrist and a firm believer in the non-existence of mental illness.

What does all of this mean?

I've based my entire life around the notion that reality is only what I can observe through my five senses. Now that I'm reading about the nature of the senses and how hearing and seeing are basically the same in that they are simply the inputting of patterns into the brain (and therefore aren't really "sounds" or "sights"), I'm at a loss when contemplating reality. This doesn't prove or disprove anything, but on that note.. can anything really be proved or disproved?

Today, we find that we are becoming more reliant on computers and technology. Technology is exponentiating at a rate, I've heard, in which the power double every 18 months. Soon, we will get to the point where we can no longer live without computers, and if there was a major failure, or an electromagnetic pulse, we would die.

Some people advocate using microchip technology to enhance human abilities, and some radical believers want to replace human intelligence with artificial intelligence once its power exceeds our own.

I find this way of thinking to be absolutley ridiculous. We should enjoy life now, not push an ideal of "progress" in our minds that would completely ruin human life, and eventually replace it. I think that we are moving to fast, and only trying to move faster. We are not ready for this surge in technology, so I believe it should either stop, reverse, or probably what most would agree with, at least low down.

So I ask, are we too far ahead of ourselves?
