Friend - You and I come from different sides but feel the same. If you have read my writings you will already know that I repeat over and over...our job as Christians is to love and not to judge. At times I feel I am being attacked from both sides, Christians with line after line of scripture (like I cannot read my own Bible) and the Atheists accusing me of being mislead and stupid.
I do not care if you have chosen to be a Pagan, that is your right, and I am not about to judge you or scold you. I would enjoy knowing you as a person.
So sign me up for the new category...lay off people.

This is a public forum. People are going to say what they will. If you honestly feel "condemned" or "judged" by the anonymous people and random candor that appears here, then simply stop visiting this site. You remind me of a person who attends a cattle rancher's meeting and complains that the menu isn't vegetarian!
Seriously, this is just a BS chat board with a bunch of bored people burning off their 30-minute lunch break or students trying to cheat on their homework answers, not a platform for a personal vendetta against you. Chill out.
And whether or not you have freedom of religion doesn't depend on anyone's opinions, wherever they're expressed; but on the laws in your country.

I happen to be a catholic, and i too agree that modern protestant christians are too judgmental. I am not sure that to say tat you are pagan is the best way to get them to stop doing that, but don't mess around with your own possible damnation to put those so call christians in their place. I see that you believ in gods or godesses, but are they really gods. Catholics think that god is god becaouse he is unchangeable and the only one there is. If there are more gods, then in a way they are all inperfect. I can say that God does not get so say what he wants. He is confined by reason. One example is that god can't make parallel lines cross becaouse by definitions parallel lines don't cross. What gives those so called christians their right to judge other people is nothing. Acording to them anyone can make an interpretation of the bible so i would believe them. They also tend to disregard the historical context of the bible. Its like trying to teach retard kids physics. They get it wrong.

Yes you have the freedom to be religious or not. If you want to be a pagan there is nothing in your laws that say you can't be. However, don't blame us if the Spirit of God makes you feel guilty for not believing in God.

Unfortunately, you don't, unless you're a Christian in this country. I'm a Pagan too and I make it my policy NOT to talk religion. Most Christians I've encountered are fairly open-minded, but frightened of (and therefore feel threatened by) other beliefs. In reality, I have much more reason to be frightened of THEM (I had a terrifying encounter in my own home some years ago involving prying neighbors that I won't go into).
There are so many Christians trying to force their beliefs into our laws (nativity scenes in public places, the 10 commandments in law buildings, the pledge in classes, etc.). I find that horrifying, and un-American.

Unfortunately, the monotheistic religions - Judaism, Islam, and Christianity do not allow anyone to have a differing opinion. For people who are supposed to base their religion on love and forgiveness they are the biggest bunch of hateful intolerant people I have ever witnessed. I think it's great that you stand up for your beliefs...Don't ever let anyone take that away from you! 'There is no price to high for the privilege of owning yourself' Nietzsche

And in what way have they infringed your freedom? Are you not allowed to worship? Are you not allowed to express your opinions? Are they going to track you down and burn you at the stake?
You have a right to be Pagan, everybody else has a right not to like it and to judge you on it.

"It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement."
The Bible says that Jesus Christ will one day judge all men. Everything that was hidden will be revealed. When you stand before the Lord one day, he is not going to pull out a copy of the constitution of the United States to see if you had the right to disobey Him.
