It's not so much that it's wrong, it's not legal. Which is a different kettle of fish all together. I went to school in a rough neighborhood when I was growing up many, many moons ago and I carried a big 'ol carving knife in my engineer boot. Never used it on anyone. Just reaching down and taking that 10" piece of steel out of my boot was enough to make everyone I ran into that had a beef with me remember they had appointments somewhere else. Again, my opinion is it ain't wrong, but it's not legal. Now I carry a 4" folder to work every day. And only have to use it at work, for work. Not to keep my butt in one piece.

When I was a kid, back when dirt was new, every boy carried a Barlow or pen knife in his pocket and a sheath knife on his belt,. People didn't use weapons like they do today. It wasn't illegal then but it sure is - and with good reason - today.
When we went fishing or to the woods, we always carried a rifle or shotgun. Depended on the season. Men did the same.

Honetly, and the truth for real, it depends on who you are and where your at.
If you live in a high places house and your school is pretty save, then it's wrong to carry the weapon.
But if you live in the bad side of town, where people get shot and jumped everyday, then I think that it' s o.k. It's not wrong to carry something a weapon if you know that what happens around you is bad.

Centuries ago, it was a given that you carried protection. Pioneer children were even known to carry flintlocks to school. Knives were standard accoutrements, and not considered weapons at all. It's only modern society that has found it necessary to put a stop to normal everyday human rights. Intrinsically, it is not wrong. Our society has forgotten about a basic principal: Personal Responsibility.

Some kids start to be afraid to go to school regarding to bloody happening . Some want to be hero in case if it will happens again in their school..Some just make it a game to cheat school security structure, for it is "cool" and very likely some kids carrying bloody plans against fellow students and staff. Pandora box is widely open now. This social phenomena based on absurdity just reflects fear of adults majority...as anything else....don't you see that? Kids will try to make it "right" in their minds, adults will put all the effort to make it"wrong". Observing bigger picture we can expect more incidents happen...just because right and wrong clash again, now, in perfect absurdity.

Right and wrong should be judged by ones intentions, however out laws require that all people must be treated the same. So we are all treated like the worst of criminals in this country since civil rights became the word.

According to schools' rules and regulations, it goes against the grain and/or is wrong. I think all humans have a right to protect themselves which is why it's called self-defense. By no means, I don't want to encourage you to perform violence.

Current federal statues pertaining to weapons on school grounds fall within the "Patriot Act" law, and therefore it is a federal offense to bring any weapon onto school property.

Yes, because you shouldn't need to. It's wrong to live in a world where even schoolchildren feel so threatened that they have to bring their own weapons around with them.

YESSSS. I can't stress that enough LoL. If you get caught, thats all she wrote. I mean public schools NEVER would except that. I'm hoping that you don't have a specific reason why you carry it, but I would just take karate classes.. they work too lol.
