I can't I'm the only voice of reason so far. The egg came first. The egg that was laid by a bird that was not quite yet a chicken but was evolving into one.

The egg. Chickens evolved from reptiles which layed eggs. Therefore the egg came first. Kind of obvious if you think about it.

It was the Chicken, because the egg will not hatch if the mother Hen does not sit on it and keep it a constant temperature for a given length of time.

I agree with 'Road_rule...' because I don't believe that God created the world (it's just scientifically IMPOSSIBLE) so yes, the egg came first.
