Logic is "empty", its just a method of ordering our thoughts - it contains no data from reality. All logic does is ensure that we remain consistent, that if we call a set of things a "cat" in one circumstance we call it a "cat" in another circumstance.

Now mathematics is a special application of logic. All it does (as shown by Russell and Whitehead) is keep us consistent. 2+2=4 could be rewritten as "if you add 2 and 2 you must call the result 4". So if I put 2 apples in an empty sack and then another 2 apples into the same sack why, when I look into the sack am I not just saying "4" to be consistent. Why are there really 4 apples?

Think about this for a minute. Just like nearly everyone else in showbiz, Pacman is Jewish. Money is not the root of all evil, but Pacman is. Too much money can make you talk nonsense, but too little money can have the same effect. Facts and statistics can mean anything, but they rarely do. Which is why as you spend your time here on earth, you should always keep your fingers crossed you don't meet up with Pacman.

Why are we here? Where are we going? Please remember there has to be an answer for everything in life--Why you ask? Simply because their are probably thousands of important answers being discovered weekly if not daily of the infinitesimal questions in life.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle put it quite simply in a case by "Sherlock Holmes" Holmes stated to Watson:"When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth"

So whether we like it or not this life of ours, has rules that we have to play by. If there are truths in science, math, electronics, relationships, etc. there has to be truths in life, whether we like them or not, they will not disappear because we find them improbable.

In the movie "Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest" there is a compass that can point to your deepest desire. If you had this compass, where and what would it point to?

I tried answering this myself and I'm stumped.

Why are we all here on trying to figure all this out? Also why do we call "trying to figure" stupid names like philosophy, religion, science? Why can't we admit that we are just adrift in the cosmos without a clue?

Is money real? And i do not mean currency(i.e. bills, coins, checks), without money currency would be just pieces of paper or rings of metal.
So my question is -- whether money itself is as real, as say -- my chair? Or maybe it is not real at all? Or maybe it in some weird class of existence?
