I've noticed, especially on many of the resolved questions, that at times the answers seem to be chosen only by what the person WANTS to hear, and not by the 'real truth' or the possible reality in each situation. Or they choose the fluffiest, kindest, and most optimistic answer, even if it's either fantasy, or hell even wrong. Why live in denial? Why not understand and know reality as to CHANGE it, rather than tolerate it? Not all are like this, but it seems all the answers are solely based on what they WANT and LIKE to hear rather than the blunt, impetuous truth. YOUR thoughts?

It's in luke 23:43
In the original Jesus says "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with me in paradise."
The JW version says ""Truly I say to you today, you shall be with me in paradise."

JW's annoy me. One of them tried to convert my dying friend. She was dying and really suffering with Motor Neurone disease and wanted to end her suffering with a euthenasia pill.
The JW told her it would be a sin and so she did not take a pill.
She died last thursday after incredible suffering. The JW caused her extra distress that she did not need. It makes me angry. Even after we asked her to stop preaching to her, she kept coming and upseting my friend and reading from the watchtower and awake.
I know she thought she was helping but she made her last days miserable.

Initially, I viewed my dreams as insignificant but lately, my life has been greatly affected by them. (merely coincidence?) My dreams made me tired and I'm getting worried. Or should I be?
And if my dreams really meant something, how do I know their meanings exactly?
e.g.
1) Saw a friend wearing a white robe
2) A cleric crying, and red dawn in a desert
3) A long distance friend, whom I've never met - in the dream, it was merely a phone conversation

And of course, there's the part where I'll wake up in a dream, waking up into a dream again and finaly waking up completely.

Please, I am not asking you guys to help me, but only to recommend, please.

Most importantly, I don't view these dreams as evil, not nightmares. I never had one this year. I'm sure I'm in no need of medical help, just need your points of views. Thanks.

Okay, I have heard many people say she was the goddess of wisdom, but her mother, Metis, was also supposedly the goddess of wisdom.

Which is which? Please also provide a link to where you found your answer.

Thanks,

i have this theory that some people are drawn to odd numbers and some to even numbers and that some people are drawn to curves and circles and others are drawn to triangles,squares,rectangles,e... believe that it is a personality thing...maybe logical and practical vs arty and chaotic, etc, i also have found that people that are drawn to curves tend to be drawn also to odd numbers as a pose to even...i dont know maybe another theory like this exists already... i would just like to know if another similar theory exists and if anyone has any opinions on mine...lol ;0)

My ex was, as they all are, really horrible to me when we broke up and for a long time afterwards. We've stayed in touch as occasional friends and I just found out his fiancee just left him. I do feel horrible for him because I know what he's going through but part of me is pleased he's hurting like he hurt me. Is this natural?

I like to know the difference among our ideas on different things. I went for a google search - "difference among ideas" , "difference among the ideas", "difference among our ideas".

To my wonder - I found only one article posted in several sites.

I am curious to know the list of philosophers talked on - the differnce among our ideas on different things.

Help me please.
