What do you think about the construct "intelligence" on the basis of both innateness and environment theory.

I really believe it is both - however the scales tip slightly in the favor of nurture.

It all depends on who's doing the analyzing here. Scientifically speaking it HAS to be both many children that come from a dysfunctional environment growing up develop the skills to raise above the circumstances on the other hand not all are equipped to do so and are left with emotional scaring. then we have the "Brady bunch" type child, that for some chemical factor turned out to be a serial killer. So this unfortunally is a lotery .Some win it. many loose it.

Some traits tip more to one than the other, but generally speaking there is a preponderance of evidence supporting both hereditary and environmental factors in the shaping of intelligence with environmental factors being slightly dominant.

Intelligence is based on logic, memory, and imagination. Logic and memory could be attributed to nature. Imagination could be attributed to nurture. So to answer your question, it's both nature and nurture. Which one has the strongest influence? That depends on the individual.

I can't decide. I read an excellent book by Judith Viorst called "Imperfect Control:Our Lifelong Struggles With Power & Surrender." It didn't answer the questions I had, but it did flesh them out. I highly recommend it.

It's both, of course. Obviously, we have to be born with the machinery required to run the process. However, after we're born, it's like any other muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it gets.

Intelligence is almost ENTIRELY genetically determined.
Providing yound kids/babies with stimulation and new experiences helps, but if your genes suck, and you inherit a low IQ, you are pretty much always going to be dumber than average.
