i have this theory that some people are drawn to odd numbers and some to even numbers and that some people are drawn to curves and circles and others are drawn to triangles,squares,rectangles,e... believe that it is a personality thing...maybe logical and practical vs arty and chaotic, etc, i also have found that people that are drawn to curves tend to be drawn also to odd numbers as a pose to even...i dont know maybe another theory like this exists already... i would just like to know if another similar theory exists and if anyone has any opinions on mine...lol ;0)

I definitely prefer odd numbers to even but prime numbers are my favorite.

However, when it comes to round or angular it depends what you are referring to and in what context.

I think the number thing is tied to people's mind set. Practical people liking even numbers, arty people preferring even (and as I am a bit of both I go for prime?).

I don't know. I think you would need a serious study followed by psychometric analysis to see if there was any clear pattern as to personality type and preference.

[I] am not going to challenge your theory or offer mine, but I will share what I am drawn to and maybe you can analyze me against your theory. I come from a weird perspective though as I am an engineer by college training, but the depth of me is an artist, which you don't find the two in union often. I love physics and calculus, but artistic drawing and photography art are my outlets. I use both sides of my brain quite often.

[N]umbers: I am a complete number type person. 3, 7, 10, 12, 21, 40, 100, 144, etc.. My favorite # is 22 though because I used it in my athletic career every time I could for my jerseys. Numbers that symbolizes completeness or wholeness intrigue me. Some comes from my old biblical background when I was younger, some just because I think about it and like completeness. Other days though, I love randomness.

[S]hapes: I love curves and movement. Some chaos, but mostly flowing. Makes me think of the ocean waves where I grew up, currents (air and water), flight, randomness but with order, flowness to where it goes. Curves on women of course (glad I was created to be a guy, that is for sure). Straightness to me means conformity. As an engineer who builds buildings, everything to me is boring in my line of work, but straightness makes better sense for $, loads, and forces due to gravity - tension - and compression. But that is boring, and my artistic mind loves to flow and see where it goes next. The only thing I don't like about most shapes are that they are constrictive. All shapes have a beginning and an end, except like the circle. No I like negative infinity to infinity - maybe lines without end curving to and fro. I think that way of our souls also, that this life here on earth isn't the end of me, and I have hope in eternity.

[O]k so I am so messed up with tons of conflict in my inner being a lot, maybe that makes me more well rounded, don't you think?

I like angles and curves!
I am always drawing little stars with circles around them randomly without thinking about it.

I don't think i really have a preference between even and odd numbers?!? though if i had 2 make a dicission or die i would choose even numbers.

and though i don't mind even or odd numbers i do prefer numbers on the 5 times table most!?! weird!

Gd Q!

I like Angular and even

I am an engineer, so i suppose that explains the angular (logical and practical). The even numbers, I suppose, because it's more stable than an odd number, and more practical in a way (two supports under a bridge, two sides of an aircraft etc)

I definitely prefer even numbers. I don't think I have a preference to curves or angles but if I have to say one I would go with curves because they are more aesthetically pleasing.

I have to eat biscuits and things in two's. I could never just eat 1 or 3 of something.

I love arches in buildings or houses and I love to put odd numbers where traditionally there are even numbers.eg. I will set the alarm for 5:27am / I will put $9:38 in petrol into my car etc / I would bid $50:15 in an auction. weird maybe but it makes my day!! The idea you have sounds logical to me in an illogical way...

This is your personal way to interrelate things in your world, and you what to see if there is any commonly recognisable sense in doing this. May be I am right in understanding you in realtion to your question but I can assure you we all have sort of metaphysical notions to assist our intuition when we try to perceive the world we live in interconnectively. I often relate people's faces to the letters of alphabets, and yes am in favour of even numbers – to me they are decent, poitive and smooth guys; but I have nothing against odd ones.

Details:- I see that circles a spheres are universal. All other shapes including squares, triangles, cones and pyramids, circles and spheres or naturally conceived in nature as an architectural solution for organising purposefully and definitively the stuff of the physical universe. From a human point of view, however, circle and sphere are highly symbolic to our own existence. Circles represent devotion, love and affiliations, whereas in spherical shapes we search the meanings of life, and associate the process of our creation into this world. In terms of human perception of reality a circle is a sign of association, belonging and devotion. We like to stay around people and things we like or love. All fruitfulness of human efforts is due to our ability to attend to our tasks periodically.

Square, on the other hand, is non-existence in nature. It is, in fact, a contrivance of human ingenuity. The simplicity of its design makes it a very useful concept. In human sense square is a symbol of safety and security. We feel safe and secure in our houses that are almost always build upon square patterns. It is strange that we do not build our houses circular following what we find in nature so fundamental. Where a circle represents belonging and movement, a square represents settlement, position and certainty.

There is however another geometrical concept that we conceived very early in our history but perhaps did not realise that soon. And that is the concept of a triangle. A triangle brings into the equation of our perception possibilities of things we do not know - we tend to define the unknown by giving it a name. For example, I know I am I, and I also know that you are you. But why I am I, and you are you? I do not know! I therefore think there must be someone else who made us as me and you - that someone most certainly was not either of us two. So, I think, there must the an entity who is above both of us - the God. And it is in this sense that triangle can be a concept of great spiritual significance - Egyptian pyramids are perhaps one good example for that. A triangle by pointing to the unknown points to the limitless.

You must have noticed that almost all religious buildings like: mosques, churches and temples, often have all three shapes incorporated into the structural design of their buildings. There are circular domes, conical minarets, and square halls underneath. Starting from the base it is a square structure, then there is a triangle blended into a sphere to build a domes, a minarets or a spire. This tell us a great deal about the conceptual relationship we have with the geometrical representation of our world. A square for the safety of our mind and body, a circle is for the devotion of our heart, then a triangle is for the sense of direction.

Off the bat I thought circles and 3. Before I even read the rest of your info. So Your theory proves correct in my instance. I don't know whether such a theory exists but you observation is interesting.

I like to draw triangles for some reason, but circles are more aesthetically pleasing to me
