I practice every day for an hour. I cant spare anymore time. ive been practicing for almost 2 months now and I have gotten no where. I ask my friends who play guitar to help and teach me something but they find it hard to believe that I have been practicing everyday and have gotten no where so they dont help me. Truthfully I cant play a single thing decently at all. I try to but I cant play it. I know it takes time but I should have learned something by now or have learned to play something. Do not refer me to guitar training websites or anything like that because that doesnt help me because I have tried it.

inside
no light allowed
mirrors cast no reflections
candles cannot burn
the door is locked
and i
like a fool
knock...knock...knock...
only silence
i wait
day breaks
again..and again...and again
i cannot surrender
i will give...
but not give up
what is the key?
where is the key/
knock...knock...knock...
i have become a sentinel
to nothingness
i am aware of your darkness
can you believe in my light?

I really need "Corner of the Sky" from Pippin, and any more low tenor - baritone songs!

Free - if at all possible!

Holes-- A youth production, and I'd be likely to get a lead role.

Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story-- An adult musical, and I'd probably get a small role, if any. Plus the auditions are AFTER Holes, so it'd be a risk, but it sounds so fun.

I only had one person read it last night and wanted more feedback about it! thanks! does it flow ; how can I make it better

Happiness reflects as I fly along
Life is now complete.
Suddenly I plummet into obscurity
I shriek in anguish for help but my cries are futile
Inner bleeding now consumes me
For my body is tattered and torn
I endeavor to retrieve stability
But all that remains is isolation

No scars are seen from the fall
You laugh and grin to hide the screams
You pass me everyday
Not knowing were I have been
You smile a fake smile
You gleam as though you’re free
But you can never escape the inner part,
You are me

have a little patience
take time with me
I am but an actor
in this improvesational play...that we call
life
and though sometimes I
miss my cue
fluff my lines
I am never the less...
a star*
as we all are
whose purpose it is
not to outshine one another...but...
to burn brightly
in one
universal
light...

I love being an artist. I love makeup and doing makeup for plays or shows that I have been involved in. I always wanted to become a runway makeup artist. The only thing that is stopping me is that I worry that I wont make enough money if I have another career. I am in school at the moment studying basic courses and Im not even sure what to study there either? I was thinking about becoming a financial advisor or a teacher, but either way my question is, is it worth going to school if nothing reallt captures my interest. And should just become a make up artist and so something that i love? PLease HElp!

surely there are enough actors/tresses and singers / dancers around who could use the money. I believe that these under valued entertainers should be employed rather than ugly / fat / bald part-timer tellers. your views ?

I've heard that a grand piano is a must for those majoring in music, because an upright just doesn't have the capabilities required to play certain pieces of music with the right technique. I was just curious what my fellow musicians thought of this. And please if you aren't a musician, music major, or music teacher, don't answer.
