Perhaps include what kind of part you are auditioning for before we start giving you songs. Some songs can reflect certain roles better than others. I'll name a few for you:
Up-Tempo or "Fast Song":
Aldonza - Man of La Mancha
Dance Ten, Looks Three - A Chorus Line
Popular - Wicked
I Know Things Now - Into The Woods
If My Friends Could See Me Now - Sweet Charity
---
Ballads?
Stranger To The Rain - Children of Eden (my absolute favorite)
Not A Day Goes By - Merrily We Roll Along
The Miller's Son - A Little Night Music (very challenging, but very good)
Stars And The Moon - Songs For A New World
Naughty Baby - Crazy For You
I Know The Truth - Aida
If you need more help, e-mail me at arielcay@hotmail.com.
Good luck!!!

You don't say if you're an alto or soprano so I'll try to give you both:
How Could I Ever Know (soprano), Home (Soprano), All the Things you Are (soprano), Not since Ninevah (up tempo meaty Soprano; also just a LOT of fun to sing), No Man Left for Me (great torch song/up tempo/alto), If I were a Bell (soprano up tempo), I'm Gonna Wash that Man Right out of my hair (alto up tempo) A Diva's work is never done (rich up tempo soprano....hilarious), A Boy Like That (alto, obviously).......if you need more ideas you can email me through my profile. Best to you.

Don't do something from "Wicked, Hairspray, or High School Musical. They are sooo overdone. Do "I revel in being a Girl." It's a best music with a purpose to exhibit your variety and you'll hav a laugh with it and do girly hand motions. Good good fortune!

What I suggest is you pick a song that fits your span of notes and your voice style. Depending on the type of competition you are getting into, but it's always better not to do full cover version if not necessary (ie, make 1/2 non-essential your own style). The songs has to also highlights your strong points, ie with high notes, with long breath, with fast speaking, rap etc.

A good fast one would be This Town Aint Big Enough For The Both Of Us by Sparks. It's a challenge, all right.
