surely there are enough actors/tresses and singers / dancers around who could use the money. I believe that these under valued entertainers should be employed rather than ugly / fat / bald part-timer tellers. your views ?

I actually think the people they do to do the adverts are most probably actors. If all the people in the advert were pretty and slim it wouldnt really be reflecting what the staff look like in the banks, therefore, they get a mix of actors to do the adverts.

Why wouldn't you like to a bit of this where you work. A gallivant down the High Street and still get paid for it. It's not like they do it every day is it. The rest of the time they are behind their desks.Looking after the thousands of customers who have been attracted to the Halifax by their adverts.

I think that's a little unfair the banks/ building societies should be able to use whoever they please does it really matter what they look like?
Belive me I used to work in a bank it was s*it and major stressful I would have loved a break to make an advert - and the money is bob!

if they work in the advertising department of the bank then surely there doing what they are paid to do.!!

I think its a travesty that they get paid to do it.... and the adverts are horrendously chhesy and I have to change channels whenever they come on!!!!!!
