The local music store is running a special on Takamine guitars. You get a Takamine Jasmine acoustic guitar and a hardshell case for $150. Is this a good deal? Would this be a good guitar for my husband for Christmas? He just wants one to sit around and play. He's an intermediate player. Nothing professional but he wants a good sound. If you don't like this one, what's a good one on the cheap (under $250)? I want to surprise him for Christmas and I don't know a thing about guitars.

I've been trying to sing for years and I can't. I've been told that it comes from the diaphragm. Am I supposed to sing out like I'm whistling? With a blowing out type of pattern fluctuating my voice high and low? When I sing low I tend to need more air, is low pitch not for me or I'm not putting enough air in before I sing a note?

What would be a good name for a record label?
I want to know what would be a good name for a record label. I want it to be professional where it will become a household name and where it appeals to the younger generations. I only would like for serious people to answer this question. I need something that is not used yet and the name will set out. I was going to name my label Rigorous Entertainment but someone already got Rigorous Recordings.

The 1st time I wasn't specfic with the dance type...sorry. I'm not giving my opinion because, once again, it would contaminate.

I'm 15 and what to know if vibrato can still come naturally if and when my voice matures, and when does your voice usually mature fully? Oh, and can it be learned or are you just born with it?

It can be like collecting old cars and coins, except chilhood toys touch a very innocent and joyful part of our lives, not just a hobby, to have one means making those memories feel real, not just memories. Roberto Shimizu opened his doors to public view of his huge private collection. You can see more some of these displayed at http://www.toymuseummexico.com/ these toys include many mexican antiquetoys, as well all antique toys of any type, color, size, material, or origin. I've seen a few college websites quote their so called ranking like "one of top 20 music schools in the country", but I've actually found any rank lists on-line.
Also, I know Downbeat Magazine does rankings of Jazz programs, but I wasn't able to find them on thier website.
Thanks for any insight. Thanks.

For example guitar is not unique but .e.g. instruments such as saxophone would be.

Thanks

When ever I sing I sound nasally. The only vowels I don't sound nasally on are AH & OO. On EH, EE, and OH I do. I don't know how to make it stop.

When I was in grade school, I sang a lot in the choir. My singing instructor said I had a beautiful voice, as did parents and classmates. I sang solos at school concerts, and I admit, I was pretty good.

Then a year or two later, I stopped singing after 9/11 . I haven't really sung in six years (i'm in high school now), and I'm really intrested in singing again, but I lost my voice! Is there a way to get it back?
